Silk offers a culinary discovery of the pan-Asian territories by serving an amazing selection of freshly prepared dishes made by our dedicated and friendly Asian brigades. Nothing feels as good as Silk tastesâ¢
We were 10 people eating a late dinner at Silk. The experience was a bit chaotic but so much heart in the service and the atmosphere. The food was great! We had all the dim-sums and then the Peking duck and some Pad Thai. All of the dishes tasted great. The wine as well. This is a welcome contribution to Verbier where you can get really tired of the cheese, the bread and the dried meat.Price wise this was so much more value for money then so many other places. We will definitely come back!

Carve is the sushi bar that turns into a nightclub in the W Hotel in Verbier. We were a group of four that stopped in last night for dinner and had a simply super time. Now, letâs face it, you are not going to get the freshest sushi quality fish in the Alps. Itâs like asking for a fondue in Lisbon; however, the interesting mix of flavours and the presentation of the dishes was very well thought out and they were delicious. The marinated black salmon with strawberries (yes strawberries) was a real treat as was the cold sliced wagyu entrecote. The other thing that set Carve apart was the really nice young staff who all went out of their way to ensure everything went well: the food came out as ordered and needed and the drinks always were topped up (we had a sadly different experience with the cast upstairs but this was not part of Carve). All in all a really great evening with some old friends and a big thank you to the team at Carve, in particular the charming young lady maître dâ who made it a lovely and fun evening for all (They should get some shochu on the menu though!!)
