I have eaten here several times and it is really hit and miss: sometimes great other times mediocre. Recently, my husband, who does not like seafood nor sushi, took me to dinner before a movie. He ordered teriyaki chicken. It was not sliced all the way through so he asked for a knife and was given a death stare. He would not have needed it if the chicken had been properly sliced. My salmon was great though (and no need for a knife ;).Jalapeno Martini, one of my favorite drinks, was a huge disappointment. I asked if the vodka was infused or flavored and was assured it was infused. It was flavored. Yuck.I'll return but my husband will not go back.
Man was nice. Ordered spicy teriyaki chicken. Tasted like burnt rubber and gasoline. Very small portions. Could not eat more than one bite because the taste of burnt rubber was so overwhelming in the chicken. No one in our group could eat it. We left hungry and 35$ poorer. Complete waste. Would never go here again.

This was my 4th or 5th visit to this wonderful restaurant and this time I tried the Teriyaki chicken which was excellent. I brought my wife who requires gluten free and my daughter who has several food allergies. They were delighted with their options and how delicious their bowls were. I have loved every meal I've had at Joy and have several friends who have become regulars. It is relatively inexpensive and great for lunch or dinner. Their staff does a nice job walking through the creation of your unique poke bowl. You'll love it!

Whenever I am in the area and hungry, I stop in at Marinepolis Sushiland in Tualatin. Its not gormet dining, but I have found it very reliable for a quick, tastey, filling meals at a reasonable price. The grandchildren love it too. Its best to arrive just before regular meal times to get the best and freshest selection from the conveyor belt system. My favorites are the salmon tempura and the seared shrimp. If you don't see what you want, ask for it. I usually stuff myself for around $13 and leave happy knowing that it sits well on my stomach and I'm not going to be suffering a couple hours down the line..
