JR天理駅前にある【Co Fu Fun】の5つの施設の1つ；【ｲﾝﾌｫ&ﾗｳﾝｼﾞｺﾌﾝ】に天理市の観光案内所があると JR天理駅で聞き、訪れた際に こちらの存在を知り お店のｷｬｯﾁ・ｺﾋﾟｰ（添付 写真参照）に魅かれ ﾗﾝﾁとして利用しました。 ﾗﾝﾁ・ﾒﾆｭｰ（添付 写真参照）は うどんorそば 980円税込、 ご飯物 1500円税込（魚or肉の主材 付、訪問した6月13日は 魚：ﾌﾗｲ、肉：鶏の唐揚げ） ご飯物の魚を注文しました。 こちらでは ｻﾗﾀﾞ、前菜、おばんざい・揚物 はﾋﾞｭｯﾌｪ・ｽﾀｲﾙになっているのも 嬉しいｻｰﾋﾞｽで、ﾋﾞｭｯﾌｪ・ｽﾀｲﾙ ﾒﾆｭｰの内[惣菜ｺｰﾅｰ]の[玉ねぎ]は気に入り おかわりをするほどでした。 今回は時間の関係で楽しみませんでしたが、店内を眺めると《純氷かき氷》のﾒﾆｭｰ（但し 14:00～ 添付 写真参照）もありますので 天理市に訪れる機会あれば お薦めします。

名物のおでんを中心に、新鮮な魚貝や美味しい創作料理がたくさんある人気店です。お酒の品揃えも半端ではありません。居酒屋としては値段がやや高めですが、記念日や来客との会食にもってこいです。

Chanko (ちゃんこ) is the name given to food made by Sumo wrestlers. It can be anything from curry to fried chicken to nabe (鍋).Asukayama reopened on May 15, 2017 after a fire (started at a neighboring restaurant) destroyed its former location. Located just a few meters away from where they were, Asukayama is back with a new look. The family run restaurant has been a part of the Tenri community for a long time and I am happy to see them back in action. I was eating alone this evening, so I had some kushikatsu (串カツ - deep fried meat and vegetables on skewers).The restaurant's new look is very bright and inviting with plenty of table seating. Although the restaurant itself is wheelchair accessible, the bathroom is not. The restaurant can accommodate up to 40 people. When you go for nabe, remember to bring your appetite as there is LOTS of food.

普通のお好み焼き屋さんですが、とても気さくで、感じの良いおやじさんが営む店で、見た目よりも人が大勢入って食べることができます。

We walked the Yamanobe-no-michi trail and found this restaurant very close to Chogaku-ji. Although we were a bit late for lunch at around 13:30, we were able to have lunch. The dishes were all described in Japanese with no translation, so I just picked two that I thought were reasonably priced (around 1,000 - 1,200 JPY for a main / set).We received excellent (shrimp) tempura - one with rice, the other one udon.

毎月、食べに行ってます。豚モダン焼きは、ボリューム満点で病み付きになります。たこ焼きも美味。お汁、もしくはソースで食べます。柚子風味のお汁はそれだけでも美味しいです。

Just a 5 minute walk from Tenri Station, Tonyoshi has been a Tenri staple for more than 20 years (I started going in 1993). You get great portions for your money, and I have always had great meals here. For those who like eggs, the katsu-don is a must. The regular tonkatsu is great, and the sasami (chicken) katsu is to die for. There is usually a line, so be prepared to wait, but trust me it is worth the wait. Locals love it, and it has even been mentioned on national TV. Because of the large portions and low price, there are always lots of Tenri University students and athletes. So, if you are visiting Nara, take the time to stop off in Tenri and eat. You'll thank me.

天理三島にある鰻の名店。天理の人が御馳走の時に行きますが他県からもお客さんが多いようです。駐車場は店横にありますが１０台程で満車になりますので早めに出かけて下さい。料理はかば焼きかひつまぶし、ウ巻き、肝焼きとどれも美味しいです。１階２階と席はあり、広々としています。
