If you love Asian food you will probably already have eaten some of these menu items on fusion buffets and other restaurants. This place is not large but clean and efficient. The menu has the common Japanese food like tempura, sushi, rice and teriyaki as well as some things you may want to experiment with. I really liked the Chicken Negimaki, which is thin filets of chicken wrapped around a filling, sort of like the way noori wraps around sushi. They have a tasty ginger salad dressing, and the miso soup, spring rolls and dumplings are very good. If it's lunch time, check out the Bento box combinations. I have eaten here 5 times and it was equally good every time. I feel like I am getting a better, healthier meal than I do when piggin' out at an Asian buffet.

I've eaten here on many occasions due to convenience. It is much more closely located than Kotabuki or Tony's sushi. However, the food is mediocre in comparison. This last visit was the last straw. The hibachi was bland, apparently salt and pepper is no longer a thing. The sushi is sub-par and pretty basic. No creative differentiation from all the other basic sushi houses. The waitress was rude, never smiled, and I probably would be angry/upset too if I was followed around by the owner all night.

We're an Asian & Natural Grocery Store offering Sushi Burritos & Poke Bowls, Local Grass Fed Beef, Boba Smoothies, Asian Produce and other healthy foods!
Me and my spouse went in there a couple of days ago. There are at least four people behind the counter and yet I am waiting well over five minutes for them to take my order. They did not look to be that busy. There was NOT a lot of people behind me waiting for their orders. They just seem to be working very slow. I finally asked one of the young guys if I can get a Boba drink. The manager interrupts me and says to his assistant "I will help this boisterous guy". He did not seem to be "joking" when he said this. That's all I needed. I replied to him that perhaps giving out tickets for people who are waiting in line might be a better idea than people just hanging over the front counter and waiting for service. The manager heard this and stated he would "take care of it". More words were then exchanged between us. As I left the place without the boba drink this individual followed me out the door and continued to berate me outside and told me what he thought of me. I responded of what I thought of him. Not a good experience. The prices are not cheap. Not sure if his people were using gloves or not when handling the food. This place made the Ocala magazine monthly magazine. Not sure how that happened. Will NOT be returning to this place again!I know all of the rest of the reviews made this place out to be the greatest thing since sliced bread. So take my review for what it is worth. I have been reviewing for over 11 years now and I do not let my feelings get in the way of my reviews. I very rarely give anyone one circle. If there was a zero circle review I would have given that. Oh yea I forgot to mention their selection of Asian groceries is VERY limited. Many of their shelves are not even close to being full. This 'mom and pop" place is located off the beaten path. Mostly private houses nearby. He does not really have any competition near him. This man is lying. TripAdvisor already deleted his last review because video proof was provided that his review was false. Please message our Facebook for video proof of all employees wearing gloves and working very quickly and each person was very busy. We also have video and photo proof that a family of 12 arrived BEFORE this man and they had a fantastic experience, by the way, in spite of this manâs impatience and belligerence. His rude behavior and the way he treated the staff was the reason the owner asked him to leave. We serve our customers on a first come first serve basis and some people feel everyone should stop assisting all of the other people and only help them. Go look at this manâs other reviews. That says it all. Heâs never even tried our sushi.

We were staying in Ocala for a few nights as we took in local natural sights. We wanted to try a restaurant in the historic downtown and decided on Sushi Bistro. My wife does not like sushi (imagine that) and had hibachi chicken instead. She enjoyed her dish. I eat sushi at least once a month, so I decided to try something different. I had the udon noodles with beef and vegetables. The noodles were cooked properly and the beef and veggies tasted great. If I returned to Sushi Bistro again, I will definitely try the sushi.
