The municipality only comprises the town of Schoten proper. On January 1, 2006 Schoten had a total population of 33,160. The total area is 29.55 km (11.41 sq mi) which gives a population density of 1,122 inhabitants per km². Schoten abuts the Antwerp districts Merksem to the west and Deurne to the south west. Really enjoyed my dinner at Unagi Sushi! Great location in the center of Antwerp and very good sushi that was fresh! Recommending this to everyone who wants to eat Asian cuisine in Antwerp.
