The population was 33,663 in the 2010 Census (growing 27.8% from the previous Census in 2000). Salisbury is the home to famed North Carolina soft drink, Cheerwine, regional supermarket Food Lion, and the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association. It is one of only two cities in North Carolina to have gigabit capacity through its municipally-owned broadband system Fibrant. A press conference held September 3, 2015 at Catawba College announced Salisbury's Fibrant system is now capable of 10 gigabit capacity town-wide; believed to be the only town owned system in the world with this capacity.

Great food reasonably priced. Had the crab salad with prawn chips and 2 petite entrees. Chicken and mixed veggies. Really good food not into sushi but the sushi bar looks clean and well prepared. Cozy atmosphere small space but great taste. Try the katana sauce its good i usuallly go for just hibachi tho.

Visited with a local friend who recommended this for good, quick Japanese and she was right. I chose Hibachi steak with vegetables and a pork egg roll. It was fast and price was reasonable and food was good. I really enjoyed my dinner as fried rice was good especially with tte sauce they give you with your meal. My steak was tender and the veggies were crisp tender. I will come again. The sweet tea was also really good. My friend chose the teriyaki steak and said hers was very good. Glad she thought to suggest this restaurant. Hibachi food at a reasonable price.

I use to not like Japanese food but when I got pregnant with my daughter my husband took me here and I fell in live with it.this is some good food love the hibachi chicken with broccoli and onions and zucchini. Yummy
