I recently celebrated my birthday and my sweetheart took me to Circle Sushi. So glad she did. It was outstanding. This inconspicuous establishment is located in a strip shopping center and the sign in front says only, "Sushi." This understated place is well worth the effort to find it and dine there. It is a wine and beer only bar but they have an excellent selection of sake, which we enjoyed with our meal. We started with tuna carpaccio and it was outstanding. We followed that with a couple of rolls including a Super Crazy Spicy Tuna Roll (clever name) and a Spider Roll. Both were out of this world. We followed the starters with sushi and sashimi and it was outstanding. Service was terrific and fast (not always the case in sushi restaurants). We topped off the meal with uni (sea urchin) which was quite fresh and tasty. The secret to good sushi starts with fresh fish and every piece we tasted was fresh and, well, perfect. And it is affordable. Sushi in Atlanta has gotten so expensive but not here. Very modest pricing and great value for the money. Do not miss this lovely place. No wait on a Saturday night and plenty of Oriental patrons (always a good sign). We will return and look forward to our next visit.

While they have a very inclusive and diverse menu..The Hamachi Kamma was quite a find. Cooked to perfection...a large portion...and a vegetable medley that was superb. The shrimp tempura was excellent and obviously cooked at the correct temperature...no greasy resudue. There was a consensus that the fried rice was exceptional. For a neighborhood restaurant....this is as good as it gets.

It was a treat to finally get to this restaurant in it's not so new location. I was at the previous location a few times and enjoyed it and can say the same about this one. I am now a fan of their crab egg roll and tuna tartare...amazing flavors. I'll be sure to go back when I visit the area again in a few weeks.

In town visiting our children and went here for dinner. If you like sushi and specialty drinks, this is your restaurant. Not a large place, and I do recommend reservations, as on weekends it does get busy. They do have a good range of options on their menu and the food is very good. I suggest you order several items and share, as this way you will get to try different things. If not to hungry one roll would be enough for one person. Nothing comes with the meal, and you will need to order each item you want, such as salad etc, Their drinks are very unique and suggest you try at least one while there. Service is good. They do have valet parking, but you can also choose to park yourself, as you can find parking around, but it may be hard on busy nights, as there are several other popular restaurants close by.

I took my 78 year old father here for his birthday along with 4 other adults and a child, We arrived on Sunday with his birthday being Monday to enjoy the crab legs offered on the buffet. The hostess indicated they only offer the birthday meals day of. Then they didn't apply the senior discount for either him or my mother. The food was ok we've ate here for several birthday meals the last few years but I think this will be the last. Service was generally poor with drinks being empty for extended times, plates cleared slowly and if you happen to send their chilled items to the kitchen not be warmed somehow the plates always come back a little "light" ( send them 5 clusters and you will receive 3 different ones back generally of a smaller size.) usually this sort of thing doesn't bother me too much as its been a running gag to see how many claws you receive after having them steamed vs how many you have sent. The crab was clean fo a change lacking barnacles as it tends too and had a good flavor.

We ordered sushi, nigiri, cold cooked spinach in crushed sesame seed dressing, fried tofu, seafood and were not disappointed. Wonderful service. I've never been to Japan, but my husband is Japanese with experience dining in these smaller restaurants there which are the inspiration for this cozy and quaint simple decor. I discovered a new green tea, Matcha, powdered green tea served here and found it more desirable as an iced tea than the typical green tea leave brew. We always walk away full and satisfied.
