I had heard many years ago that this place had excellent sushi. Tonight my son and I tried it out. They have AYCE dinner for $23.95. I tried 3 rolls, two of which were the fried kind which I usually enjoy. However, these were so hard and crunchy that it was difficult to enjoy them. The other roll was pretty good though. My son had a roll that was baked which he said tasted good. The employees (waitress and cashier) were very nice and helpful for our first visit. The environment inside the restaurant is lively and inviting (with excellent music) which is in stark contrast to how it looks on the outside. So overall, our visit was pleasant.
I was staying at the Hampton Inn right in the same area and strolled over to this place. There are several small restaurants in the local vicinity but this one had the most people sitting inside so I thought this might be an indication that it was pretty good. I was right. I ordered curry ramen to go and loved it (but note it is very salty). But even the to-go container was high quality. I recommend this spot if you like ramen, and/or are staying in the Hampton Inn right next door. Great little spot and I'll probably visit again if in the area.

There really isn't much to this restaurant. Decor needs updating in a major way. The sushi is average but they do have a few rolls that stand out. It gets pretty crowded at lunch during weekdays because it's the only sushi restaurant around and a lot of the office people that work around downtown Riverside goes there.
