We walked by this restaurant while sightseeing and stopped to take a look at the menu. Andre, the host, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We decided to make dinner reservations. Once we arrived for dinner we were promptly seated and greeted by our waitress, Juliana, who provided exceptional service. We loved the atmosphere of this place. They had live music but they played at a volume that we could still have a conversation. The decor is lovely and very inviting. We ordered sushi rolls and a steak. Both dishes were well made and delicious. Oh, and the drinks were on point and beautifully presented. Definitely, the best meal we had on our visit! We had a marvelous evening!

Not sure I would have left Pirenópolis to check out this sushi bar located inside a hotel a few kilometers outside the town center. Also not sure this is as good a Japanese eatery as can be, considering it's location which is relatively remote from larger cities. But considering we were staying at the hotel in question, Villa do Comendador, I certainly had to try Tsu Jiro's food.First of all, I admit a bit of disappointment, as others have written, considering that it's currently #1 on TA's list for Pirenópolis. Secondly, given that wife and daughter only really enjoy warm dishes of the Nipponic cuisine, the fact that basically only miso-shiro (which is good, but too expensive) and shimeji (not cheap and too salty) are on the menu as warm meals diminished immensely the attractiveness of this place to us. At least it does sell itself as a sushi bar. My wife also requests California sushi whenever we frequent Japanese eateries, and Tsu Jiro´s is really awful...On the other hand, I discovered they make really top notch temakis generously filled with fish - and after checking out the fish every day, I ended up having salmon temakis on 3 occasions and tuna temakis on another 2. Another tuna sushi I had (a Jo) tasted a bit off...So, if you are staying at Villa, certainly give this place a try, if not, only if you really cannot avoid temakis while you are staying in Piri.

We saw this on trip advisor and it was as good as everyone reported. The quality of the food was excellent as was the price and presentation. Its location away from the main eating area sitting outside was a bonus, and it was our favourite restaurant of all those visited here
