Find out what Japanese restaurants to try in Phnom Penh. Budget-minded travelers will appreciate Phnom Penh's reasonably priced hotel rooms (several top-rated hotels on TripAdvisor offer rooms around $40/night). Explore the city's temples, palaces, and the remnants of its French colonial history. Just outside the city, the The Killing Fields (Choeung Ek) are a reminder of Cambodia's tragic past-- a somber contrast to the booming city of today.

A wonderfully zen Japanese robatayaki restaurant with six private tatami rooms and a sushi bar. Experience the traditions of old Japan and savor the sophisticated flavors of traditional Japanese cuisine. Everyday you are able to chose between a variety of
Tried this japanese restaurant during my worktrip in Phnom Penh. Since I was staying at the Sofitel hotel, the restaurant is just on the ground floor.Normally I am skeptical on eating Japanese raw food when overseas because not too sure if they are fresh but because of the good review decided to give it a try. Ordered the sashimi and sushi bento set and everything was so fresh. Will definitely come back again.Dear Angie_YW,Greetings from Hachi at Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra,I am delighted to read that you are satisfied with our Japanese cuisine during your stay at Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra. Indeed, the fish we used at Hachi is daily imported from Japan as we would like to ensure that guest will experience the authentic sensation. Not only that, our Chef Katayama has an exceptional skill through rigorous training in order to prepare the Fugu fish dish. Learning that you love our Sashimi and Sushi Bento Set, be invited to try out our Saturday Sushi buffet available from 11.30AM â 2.30PM. It will truly exceed your expectation. We all cannot wait for your return.Sincerely,Charles-Henri ChevetGeneral ManagerSofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra

Nestled on a quiet street a few blocks from the Toul Tom Poung Market, Sesame Noodle Bar offers a small menu that focuses on quality over quantity. We draw from Japanese, Asian cuisines with a splash of Americana (and donât forget the tahini). Our house s
Delicious soup and great service (free water and refills, rare in Southeast Asia), additionally had the available craft beer Irish Red. Skewers with soy sauce were quite good, however serves on edible sticks of some vegetable, which proves incredibly difficult for my teeth to bite through leaving a mess. Chicken soup was also very good, however noodle to north ratio was a little below what I would like, forcing me to drink a lot of the broth at the end of the meal. Beer was average, but not surprising considering the location. Overall quite good for price paid, would recommend for lunch or dinner.
