Great food at just 12 USD per person (weekend dinner price). Plenty of meat, seafood, mongolian grill, sushi, etc.
Nice full Japanese restaurant that serves everything from teriyaki, sushi and tempura. Special menu and a larger menu with lots of pictures to assist you in your choices. Prices are in line and everything was fresh. Definitely a repeat.

Came here with friends for dinner. Located in a small strip mall close to LB airport. The front of the location is on the north side so we literally drove past the place because the backside faces the street. Small place but the service was good and the fish was really fresh. We ordered the edamame, sashimi, and a few specialty rolls. Everything was delicious. Will definitely be back.

I went on a date to Bell Hana, which I saw driving through Bellflower and decided to try. They opened Jan 2014 and don't seem to have quite caught peoples attention yet, based on the fact that we were one of two groups in the restaurant at 7:30 on a Saturday night. Most people will think of this as an all you can eat sushi place (AYCE), but they have a regular menu with all the standard Japanese restaurant offerings and we find that ordering three rolls separately is all we can eat and cheaper than the AYCE deal. If I was going out with friends who have a big appetite, I would go for the AYCE just for the fun of it. We ordered crunch roll, rainbow roll and eel roll. The presentation was really nice (I should have taken picture, but was in date mode). We also shared a salad with a very good miso dressing. The fish appeared and tasted fresh, which was a concern in an AYCE with no people there. There was one fish on the rainbow that looked a bit suspicious-I expect white, red or orange, but not greyish tan. I bravely ate so my date wouldn't. She ate the salmon and ahi from the rainbow roll. Service was attentive and fast (haha...no one else there). Someone from Yelp said the server was too shy...all the staff are Japanese guys from Japan...they are not over the top, but efficient and friendly. Soooo, I hesitate to torpedo a place that is already struggling, and you never know why someone gets sick, but my date was up all night with stomach cramps and diarrhea. We ate the exact same thing all day, except for the selection of fish from the rainbow roll. The illness only lasted through the night, so it didn't appear to be a flu. I'm thinking my date isn't going to want to go back there. Too bad, because it's convenient and everything tasted and looked good.By the way, BellKo Korean BBQ is right next door with lots of cook-top tables (huge place) for AYCE Korean.

We hadn't eaten here for several years; often choosing closer, more convenient "fast food" Japanese restaurants or a higher end Japanese restaurant in Irvine instead. The outside and inside have been re-painted. the decor seems cultural. Tokyo Hibachi is indeed in between the fast food/low flavor and the expensive/fru fru restaurants. I had the King Sushi plate; fish was fresh with decent portions and decent price. chicken teriyaki at our table was cooked to order. tableware is not plastic and service was attentive (room was 2/3 full) and food arrived without delay. We will go back again, and not wait so long until we return!
