We ate at Kagiu prior to our visit to the Yamazaki Distillery. Kagiu is just a few minutes' walk from the distillery grounds. The woman who served us was very kind and patient with us despite our language barrier, and the udon we had was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend if you are in the area!

This place serves okonomiyaki... the typical food for Osaka folks.It is like fried noodles with vegetable or meat.I find the taste very rich with lots of sauces added.

We had the luxury dinner after Suntory Yamazaki whisky distillery tour. Historical appearance and good ambience with classic Japanese decor. Enjoyed best-in-season tempura, deep fried in front of us and served, and whisky with the Suntory premium soda, made of the same water as Yamazaki whisky. Outside is crunchy and a burst of pure flavor comes from inside. The best place to eat in Yamazaki.
