Visited Isawaya for weekend lunch.The place is walking distance from University of Science.The restaurant is small only around 4 tables.They provide Sushi, grilled fish also, so you can enjoy if you canât eat raw fish.Maybe they canât speak English but no worry they have menu with photo.The signature sashimi bowl is awesome,One of the best around this area.

This is an old handmade noodle restaurant. All my family members have been there and is beloved by the local people. The staff are friendly and talkative. In face the main waitress is a funny and down to earth woman whose talking manner is almost like a Latin woman you would find in a restaurant in Spain or Italy. All the noodles are handmade by the chef who has been working there for 30 years or longer. The noodle has a good texture and matches with simple but delicious soups.I really hope they will continue to run their restaurant!! If you are staying near this city, you must go there!!
