We went here for lunch and it was good but I do not think worth $90. We had one appetizer, two rolls, and a shrimp burger and fries. The rolls were good but nothing spectacular. The appetizer was ahi wrapped in filo, it probably was the best tasting of our lunch. The shrimp burger should be removed from their menu and it really just seemed like a frozen shrimp patty with lots of breading, deep fried. I would never or it again. The waitress was of zero help, her response to questions was get what you want. If she could or would have described the food the shrimp patty would NOT have been ordered. The place itself is very modern and clean, the service was average at best. Probably will not return. Thank you for your feedback; it only helps us get better. We hope to see you soon at Shakou. #ExperienceShakou

We gave Osaka a 2nd chance after a 5 month absence. Incredibly, they seem to have gotten their act together (even though the "help wanted" sign is still there). BIG city quality on the border of Mundelein and Vernon Hills. You can taste the FRESH. Recommend King Crab and Madam Butterfly rolls. We always order the Niku noodles to go after dinner for our next day meal. This is at the high end of being a mid priced restaurant depending on your appetite and thirst.

Being a vegetarian, Sushi choices are always limited. This restaurant has great options ... their combinations item for vegetarian on the menu has a great variety. Even my colleagues like the non veg options... the ambience is great and the place is very busy.

We love going to Tsukasa because, honestly we never have had a bad experience. For more than 25 years, we have celebrated our daughter's birthday in the main dining room and have enjoyed the food and the presentation. Recently, my husband and I decided to try the small dining room by the bar. Sunday's they open at 4 p.m and it was perfect for a quaint dinner for two in one of their comfortable booths. We enjoyed the same delicious food as we have always had and the service was wonderful. When I read reviews about Tsukasa being a bit "pricey" I compare their prices to other restaurants we frequent and I do believe they are comparable in price but excel in value. I had a hibachi chicken dish and my husband had the hibachi scallops. Both dishes were delicious but the Tempura Calamari we shared was exquisite. The price was less than in the main dining hall just because there was no elaborate presentation of cooking the food, yet the food was still outstanding. Tsukasa is at the top of my list of places to visit on any occasion. Like we said, "Why wait for a birthday?"

We had an enjoyable hibachi dinner along with some sushi while visiting the area for my sonâs boot camp graduation. Dinner was very nice, but like any hibachi style restaurant, they all have their own special sauces/dressings, which were slightly different than weâre used to, however, it was still good, just different. My son ordered Sushi and Tempura and both were very good. Our cook was fun and personable and did a great job cooking our individual meals.
