Find out what Japanese restaurants to try in Mumbai. Though Mumbai can feel chaotic and crowded, there are peaceful moments to be found here. Nibble a paper cone of bhelpuri while you stroll the sands of Chowpatty Beach. Then, take a short walk to Mani Bhavan, where Mahatma Gandhi once lived, strategized, and was ultimately arrested. The markets are spirited places to bargain for spices or souvenirs. Take a guided tour of Dharavi – made famous by "Slumdog Millionaire" – for an eye-opening glimpse into what Mumbai life is like for nearly a million people.

Was visiting Mumbai for a business conference, near Colaba and ended up visiting Fenix restaurant for a quick lunch. Must say it's a beautiful Hotel with a very rich history. The restaurant serves a varied cuisine in its menu, and one is actually spoilt for choice. Yogesh was kind enough to guide us through the meal. Highly recommended for any future visit.

Serving progressive modern Chinese and Japanese cuisine, Dashanzi has a chilled out sophisticated vibe, inspiring uber-cool decor, breathtaking sea views and lounge music. The electrifying bar experience is perfectly paired with a live sushi and sashimi b
Had dinner once and light dinner a second night. Had the prawns/shitake/chives, prawns & coriander as well as lobster money bags dumplings; all three were excellent, prepared fresh and served in the traditional bamboo steamers. We also had the baby bokchoi and the fried chicken Kung Pau, both very nice. I recommend the Bloody Miyagi. The service was very attentive; it's great for occasional business travelers who want to stay in the hotel, but it's pretty expensive.Dear TripAdvisor Member,Thank you very much for taking the time and sharing such a wonderful review about your stay with us. I am delighted to read your positive comments about the hotel and we are pleased to know that you enjoyed your experience. We eagerly anticipate your next visit! We opted for a tasting menu which is available on Thursday.Honestly, the food is varied and brilliant.Fabulous sushi, maki and dimsum. The papaya salad also made very well. Was informed their chef is from Thailand.Presentation also very good.Same with service. The desserts in the tasting menu were only 2,and we found the hazlenut mousse cake a tad too sweet and not a great finish to an otherwise great meal.
