Had a reservation for an anniversary celebration, had it booked for 3 weeks, arrived and it was closed! A rubbish note on a locked door saying closed for technical issues. I understand these things happen but the restuarant had all our contact details and they could have let us know prior to us wasting our time making our way there. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and had to queue about 45min. Unfortunately a waste of time in terms of ramen. Yes, portions are big. If thatâs all you care about you found the right place. We cannot understand the hype.They are unfortunately not at all organized like restaurants usually are in Japan. Most of the time we spent waiting 2-6 spots at the counter were left free although plenty of people were waiting. I asked why and the waiter told me he doesnât know. Later I asked him what kind of of dipping sauce they use for the gyoza. He didnât know either. Once seated we had gyoza (good, but the pan fried side wasnât cross enough), shyo ramen and miso ramen. Shyo ramen broth was too meaty. Miso ramen was a total disaster and tasted like no ramen weâve ever tried anywhere before, including Japan. The noodles were way too hard. The meat slices were too thick and of very poor quality. In general the list of ingredients is poor. The ramen only comes with onions, spring onions and meat. For that itâs also too expensive.

The staff and food were very good, but since you can easily pay 50-70 ⬠per person, there are a few things they could consider to further improve the customer experience. First, consider an English menu for us tourists. I understand the clients are mainly Asian or local, but Düsseldorf is cosmopolitan enough to quantify it. Second, consider some menu options for the inexperienced. You have a special menu and set up and someone who has never done this could use a bit of guidance. We also observed a table being prepared and the handling of the wooden chop sticks could be better. Like a fork or knife, these are meant to handle food and are not just some decoration at the table. Hygienic rules should apply.

Nice location and view over the water but the restaurant is typical of such a hotel - bordering on a little soulless. Tables well spaced. Food generally good but a tad hit and miss, dessert was really good. Service for the most part was attentive and friendly. Went here with a coworker, we don't speak German or Japanese so communicating was interesting. We both read enough German we could figure out what is on the menu, and the staff was very patient and gracious. Food was hot, fresh and excellent. Value priced and great service what's not to love and go back again. Warning they do not take credit cards, or maybe Visa only so bring cash. The large menu means you can go in several times and still have more to explore.

A really good experience of food and service. Ripoff prices....Sushi and Sashimi are way apart from a great Micherlin Star experience..its just ordinary Japanese food! Whý so expensive? Boring! Where does this hipe come from? For a Michelin Star, I am ready for something new! Creative! I did not find that at that evening. The service was okay, but nobody had any idea about the wines...how could You get a Michelin Star?

Um pequeno, mas muito bom restaurante em Meerbusch. Compramos a comida para levar para casa. O atendimento foi muito gentil e rápido. Entretanto, na hora de pagar o caixa informou que só aceitava pagamento em dinheiro, não recebia cartões. Felizmente tÃnhamos o suficiente para pagar. A comida estava muito boa, especialmente o Atum. Estranhei apenas os rolinhos que estavam gelados. Sushi excelente.

We had dinner here with a group of 6 and everybody was surprised about the quality and the taste of the food!! The service our group got was amazing, couldn't be better. The wine suggestion from our waiter was also fantastic and it was just 20 euros per bottle! Next time one of us will visit Dusseldorf we will definitely be back. One tip, make a reservation we did it as well and as we entered it didnt seem necessary but after one hour the restaurant was completely full (also with a lot of Asians, so it must be good!!).
