They never disappoint. Will make menu adjustments as requested without a problem. The sushi is always fresh a perfect place to have a quiet lunch or dinner. They also provide take our service.
Our traveler's hearts were open when we explored Lynbrook for a good place to have lunch...and that is exactly how we found Mikado. The sushi was superb, the fried rice was some of the best we'd ever tasted (what is that 'extra' flavor?...it was that memorable!). Thank you for a very pleasant experience...our meal was a portent for the other good meals we were to experience on that trip!

Asian fusion cuisine.
Exactly one year ago, we ate here with our daughter and her family but this year decided to order take out. With 3 children aged 7, 5 and 3, we were able to avoid such a busy crowded restaurant on Christmas evening and enjoyed the same high quality food in a much more relaxed atmosphere. We had a great selection of dishes including sushi, shrimp, steak, sea bass, scallops, noodles and others that I cannot recall. Everything was delicious.

Iâve been here several times for spontaneous girls night. Always tasty food, nice drinks, good service . I love the curry seafood, the shrimp Yaki udon, and the tuna tar tar. Pretty much all I ever get since I donât eat sushi. The best drink on the menu is the peach fuzz. Make sure to have several of those.

Treated to some delicious sushi. Ordered and paid online, delivery was quick. Ordered and paid for 2 salads, but only 1 was delivered(bummer). Rainbow roll, dragon roll, sweet potato roll and traditional California roll was enjoyed by all. What better way to enjoy sushi on a cold wintry springtime night than to have it delivered to your door. Shall definately Get from this place again, as well as venture in to the actual restaurant.

I went with my family ( 5 people) to have dinner, and my daughter made reservations to us, because we have 2 children and all of us hate to wait for a table. We had to wait for more than 45', and it's awful to wait after an active Sunday. My daughter complained to the hostess, without any results. The music was too loud, also, and after having our seats, the food was ok, but the " show man" didn't make that " show" to earn the price charged in the bill. Next time, we'll search for another place in Long Island, where there are many Hibachi restaurants. Sorry!!We're so sorry for the wait; we know that must have been frustrating. Occasionally, parties will stay longer than expected, and while we try to account for that, it doesn't always work out as planned. As you can see from our other reviews, we typically do a fantastic job. This must have been an off night for us. We'd love to show you that we're capable of so much more. Sincere apologies, Asahi Hibachi Sushi Team
