Come by your local Noodles & Company at 8 West 8th Street, , Lawrence where its globally inspired dishes including noodles, soups and salads, come together to create a World Kitchen.
We've came here mutiple times and food is fast and good. The stuff mostly friendly in though here and there we had some less nice waiter. This place is good for families as well as anyone that want to get low cost fast food

Went here as next to motel & love Japanese food but the food was over cooked & tasted of chemicals. I had teriyaki salmon & it came our as dry as a bone and the shrimps tasted like it had been put in bleach - it was inedible. Told waiter about it & they went to make another salmon for me (didn't even try to replace the shrimp even though I told them about it). Next one was also overcooked but slightly better than the first. I told them this but they made a sarcastic comment asking whether I wanted it raw. I didn't, just wanted it cooked well. Other issues were asking for green tea & getting a cold drink - not too sure what they gave me but I've never had cold green tea in a Japanese restaurant before. Miso soup didn't have the components for it to be a good miso soup (didn't have the tofu, and wakame). Very disappointed as we love Japanese food

Hidden in the heart of downtown Lawrence, Cafe Beautiful delivers an intimate and truly unique dining experience. BYOB. Advance Reservations Required.
Café Beautiful sounded like an ideal experience, so three weeks before we were to be driving from Pennsylvania through that part of the country I called the restaurant, leaving several messages. Some days later the chef returned the calls, and we explained about our situation and made reservations. This done, we cancelled our stay and meal at Harry's in Manhattan, an old favorite and one of the few excellent places for fine dining in Kansas. We arrived at our hotel near Beautiful, got some special wines ready, showered, got dressed, and prepared to drive over. However, 35 minutes before we were supposed to be there the chef called and cancelled, saying we would have to do it another day. Of course, the next day we were headed east on I-70, so we wound up a mighty unhappy twosome at a Tex-Mex eatery. If your schedule is flexible, Café Beautiful may be a great choice -- it certainly sounds like a worthwhile experience. But if you have a tight itinerary, being dropped at the last minute is a chance you take when the entire establishment consists of only one person.

My wife and I came here to try it out and see if it was better than the 'other' Mongolian BBQ place. We were not disappointed. The selection may not be quite as big, however we both thought the quality of staff and food was much better. Good price also. I think we were there for over an hour and never felt like they wanted to push us out for new customers. Recommend it for lunch or dinner.

My husband absolutely loves the sushi here. Not exactly the most romantic atmosphere but he swears by the sushi (Cowboy roll and Crunchy Munchy). I am not a big sushi eater but they had some other things on the menu which were pretty good for me but it is definitely more for a sushi fan. Very reasonable prices as well. Staff was friendly.

Ramen Bowls Provides Noodle Shop, Ramen Restaurant, Take Outs & Delivery, Ramen, Asian Food, Fried Rice, Appetizers, And Kids Food To The Lawrence, KS Area.
Almost didn't stop as we've had some bad ramen experiences. But it was right where we needed to be, and felt right for lunch; filling but not weighing you down in the warm weather.Service was very good, the waiter was friendly and helpful. Really good appetizers. The ramen bowls had a good variety of vegetables. It wasn't like some places where the same things are thrown in every bowl. What was the real kicker was the broth! A lot of times whether pho or ramen, we never finish the broth, they don't appeal to us enough to empty the bowl. Not here! the broths in our ramens were very flavorful, right amount of spice, didn't cover up any of the ingredients. Definitely be back when come through.
