While staying overnight in Kearney we needed some carry out meatless, cheeseless food. We really lucked out when we found Kyoto. We ordered two Vegetable Roll Comboâs and it was a complete and good-tasting meal. The Miso soup was perfect, the salad healthy and the vegetable rolls with the avocado, cucumber and asparagus were great. The 18 small rolls were accompanied by excellent ginger and wasabi. This place is walking distance from most of the Kearney hotels.

Ordered teriyaki shrimp and chicken. The fried rice was fast food style fried rice. They did not add much teriyaki sauce on the meat/rice. The meal fit on approximately a 8" plate and I was still hungry when I was finished. At $11 for the meal and drink it is overpriced. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly.

The Sushi here is phenomenal, we went with a party of eleven and were seated right away. The menu is very extensive,and all the sushi is delicious. The most fun is sampling what everyone else ordered,I had the Texas and it was worth going back for again. Definitely something for every one.
