Things to do in Hohhot
An excellent array of dishes that are prepared in next to no time. my personal favourite was the pork rib fried rice. They also have a variety of japanese rice dishes and other protein dishes. They have a picture menu that is in english that makes ordering very easy. There are also a selection of fruit juices that are served in pitchers that 2 people can share which is also very refreshing. The famous ramen noodles are a speciality and very tasty. you can also buy packs of these noodles in store that you can take home and prepare yourself.
Local food. Waitress did not speak english. good quality food. no forks/knives available for western people. I tried caw knee and it was not as bad as it sounds.
