All staff are warm. Buckwheat(I ate "Fujimi soba") taste was so good! You can see the huge Mt.Fuji very clearly if weather is fine. You can get a healthy Japanese food within beautiful scenery that spread in front of here.

we went as a group of 15 people, it's not easy to find a place to eat without reservation. good thing that this restaurant is available, we were given a kind of private room. which was very excellent. the food was nice. I recommend this restaurant.

Just finish dinner at this restaurant which is located about 7km from Gotemba station. They have a Japanese website.No English is spoken but they have a English menu with photos. Staff were helpful and no reservations is needed. The restaurant opens from 5-9pm for dinner as well as for lunch.The restaurant serves Yakitori @ 170y onwards ( the chicken wings, green pepper wrap, enoki mushroom, eggplant wrap) and many other kinds, together with the eel rice bowl from 2500y onwards. Prices were reasonable. Very good food and drink choices. Highly recommended as this place is frequented by locals only and is out of the way.

After the initial shock of being greeted by a robot (which hands you your seat ticket - bar or table - it's your choice), Make your way to your seating, check the printed menu and the screen (English version, too). Now you can order. Unlimited matcha tea (not perhaps the best quality, but good, with a hot water tap at the table), unlimited sliced ginger, all the possible condiments and seasonings... chopsticks which are not the eco-UNfriendly wooden ones ... and away you go!

As a westerner, I was fortunate to have a local colleague take me this hidden gem. I'm open to trying new food and was really happy to get a chance to try a local restaurant.I had a huge bowl of raw seafood and rice. Salmon, shrimp, eel, squid, tuna, scallop, and mackerel were heaped on this dish.If you want authentic, local, and fresh, give it a try!Not fancy, but worth the experience.

If you are looking for pork or various seafoods breaded and deep fried, this is your restaurant. There was an English menu, great service and a large amount of options. The kimchi was good and complemented the food well. The ume-shiso tonkatsu was awesome! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good Japanese meal.

Arrived at Gotemba Premium Outlets around 11 10am. Tip: go straight to Uogashi and get a table immediately as restaurant soon fills up and a queue starts forming by noon. This way you'll have made better use of your limited time. Order your sushi using iPad and delivered via conveyor. Especially enjoyed the seared Tamago (egg).
