As an American (who LOVES sushi) living in Italy, it can be hard to find restaurants that don't serve the typical Italian dishes, but Sometimes Sushi is a real sushi restaurant tucked away in Foggia and I am so glad we found it! The inside is decorated in traditional Japanese decor, which is a refreshing departure from the typical local restaurants. The menu is written partially in Japanese (like most sushi menus) so as long as you understand the Japanese words on sushi menus, you'll be fine if you don't speak Italian. They were out of tuna and shrimp when we were there, which I hope is an indication of the freshness of the seafood. We had salmon, eel, and crab in our rolls and we enjoyed them :) the pieces are rather large and can be quite a task to chew, but they taste great. The only negative was the rolls with cream cheese had too much cream cheese in them, which could be overpowering. I prefer my sushi cut into smaller pieces, but that did not deter me from enjoying the meal. We also had miso soup, which was good. There was sake on the menu as well as tempura and edamame... So nice seeing familiar foods! Overall we enjoyed the meal and we look forward to going back and trying the tuna and shrimp!

Iâve been in this restaurant for the first time with my brother and my sister in low for dinner on a Wednesday night. We had no reservation, it was around 9ish and we had a nice table close to the chef desk by the kitchen as well. I agree with all the other reviews about the fried smell youâll take home with you but I guess itâs completely understandable and itâs not the first place in Italy where you eat and you take home with you on your clothes the smell of food or fried food or whatever so itâs definitely not a big deal. The staff is polite and helpful, only two girls on a 5 staff FOH are allowed to take orders, they donât have a great knowledge of drinks and menu, but they were both very polite. Food was great. Based on a All you can eat review, I can say this place well deserves to be called a restaurant. Itâs not just an all you can eat!!! Thereâs no buffet and you can order as many time as youâd like and all the food is fresh and well made! Food has been delivered very soon as well, we didnât wait so long for anything, including the grill and the tempura or other fried food in general. Fried food is the best. Their tempura was simply AMAZING! They had to adapt their culture to the Italian one so it was quite funny to me see the noodles under the name of spaghetti but I guess itâs the best way to let Italians understand what theyâre going to eat. Food is great, service is friendly and Iâd definitely recommend this restaurant and I canât wait to have another amazing dinner or lunch with them. Thanks guys! Also, lovely Italians, donât be so greedy, have some respect for these guys, just order whatever you think youâd like most and may order again. And again. Instead than order too much food and donât even have a room for tasting it. Just saying ..

15,90 for all you can eat a lunch. Sushi is fine. Come early to really enjoy it to the fullest, because it closes really early and they will kick you out.
