After dining in Maine for three days, we returned to Fayetteville for a quiet dinner at Kyoko's on a Sunday night. The restaurant is massively understated, no fancy signs, no balloons, no hokey promotions, just incredible fresh fish and sushi. The natives know a great restaurant, and if you want a spectacularly good dining experience at a very affordable price, this is your destination.

We always stop here when we are visiting the Syracuse area. This time we were so pleased that we went back 4 times, even bringing friends to introduce them to this marvelous cuisine. As usual the food and the service was exemplary.
Where to eat American food in Fayetteville: The Best Restaurants and Bars
We've traveled to many places in the area looking for good sushi -- we are happy to find GREAT sushi right in the village of Manlius. The tiny strip mall near the police station houses a nail salon, an optometrist, another restaurant and this little gem. There are not many tables -- but the atmosphere is simple and effective. We ordered several different rolls -- and they were all fresh and delicious. The service was fast -- the saki was warm -- it was a great experience and we will be going back frequently!

We joined friends at this quiet, Asian restaurant on Erie Blvd. East in Dewitt upon their recommendation, and decided to try the unique "all you care to eat" special menu. For a fixed price, the courteous and efficient wait staff continues to bring as much fare as you can eat - all made to order. After 5 selections of sashimi, two sushi rolls, a generous portion of seaweed salad (my favorite) and some beef lo mein, I was full. Our friends were as well. The food quality was excellent - and the portions generous. On this Sunday evening, there were few patrons, probably because of the competition on Erie Blvd. We will return!
