Polar opposite of the last time I visited. Super slow service food order was wrong for the whole table. Horrible horrible service. Sat for 30 minutes waiting on the check. Sat for over 30 minutes with empty drinks. Absolutely negligent server. It was sooo bad that it makes me not want to go back. Even after the stellar service we got the first time.

This is a quiet, peaceful restaurant (at least it was on the Friday night we visited) with friendly, quick service and reasonable prices. It's located in a strip mall and is easy to miss--maybe that's why it wasn't crowded at all. It's WAY better than Daruma, a other restaurant nearby. We tried a sushi roll and a scallops combo dinner. There was plenty for sharing.

chef cooking raw chicken beside fried rice. He know nothing about public health "cross contimanation that will coz food borne illness"I dont thing so he is a chef????Becarefull to our health with this restaurant.Public health must be notified.Food taste very rarely. Never coming back again!!

My kids always ask to go to Sarku whenever we are in Douglasville at the Arbor Place Mall. The prices are great and the amount of food is plentiful. I make it a special treat for them after going to the dentist (just up the hill from the mall). They love it so much that they are on their best behavior for the dentist. Win-win! If you eat here, you should be sure to get one of the SJ Club Cards. Each teriyaki meal that you purchase earns you a stamp. After 5 stamps, you get a FREE Chicken Teriyaki Meal. With 5 kids in my family, we always earn a free meal every 2 trips!
