We are visiting from England and we are so glad we found this place!!! The kids love sushi but this is a totally different experience. So much choice, such lovely staff! Will definitely be back if we are in the Agoura hills again

We had a large party for a family/ friends birthday celebration . Had 2 tables, and one was served way before ours. We got our vegetables after the meal, the show was very halfhearted, my chicken was tough, gluten free options were grudgingly delivered. The birthday girl did enjoy it. Felt it was overpriced

I am the pickiest sushi eater as I don't even like seafood much. Anything even remotely fishy doesn't work for me. And I love this place! Always fresh, always good. And while the service is excellent, it's small and always packed...which is another sign of how good it is.

I LOVE this place! They welcomed me and my 2 dogs to a nice patio. Their sushi and meat noodle dishes are fantastic. They really give their all to make your dining experience a great one. Such friendly staff!!!

Strip mall sushi. Decent enough, but with lousy service. Good if you are jones'in for sushi and are in the neighborhood, but there are lots of good sushi places right up the street like Sushi Nishi.

The sushi remains very good in freshness and flavor. I usually get the sashimi or sushi combo, and upgrade with the $1 spicy ahi. The sushi here is so much better than the near by highly overrated Sugarfish. You can order what you want, and eat it however you like. Service is friendly, and parking is always plentiful. However...don't try to show off your Japanese speaking...as they are Korean :)
Where to eat Bar food in Calabasas: The Best Restaurants and Bars

I'm conflicted. A great restaurant should have both delicious food and great service; sadly, Shibuya lacks one. I could rave on for hours about the food -- best sushi in Southern California, freshest fish around -- but other reviewers have already done it justice. Instead, I want to talk about my main grievance against Shibuya: the service. Based off my experience, Shibuya does not know how to treat their customers. To start off, Shibuya does not take reservations -- understandable -- but to secure a table, the process is horrendous. Essentially, they put a list on their door at 2:30 pm and Calabasasians flock far and wide to write their names down. Then at dinner time, in an almost lottery like manner, they begin calling off names, favoring the few who came earlier in the day. In my opinion this system takes the enjoyment out of dining, turning it into a mad competition. Furthermore, the service inside the restaurant is cold and near nonexistent. As there are always people waiting for a table, you are rushed, expected to eat within an hour. The servers take your order once, never to be seen again, and many of them didn't seem to take pride in their job. Multiple orders came out wrong, and we also received items that we did not order. Of course, what we received was amazing, so how we received it is where I took issue. To those of you willing to endure the wait and bad service, I give you a warning. The ambiance inside the restaurant, to some, may be bothersome as the space is small and old. Personally, I enjoy the hole-in-the-wall vibe but at times, constantly bumping into the table next me was testing.
