Like this Clean n nice Shabu-Shabu place, you can choose more then one soup base shabu-shabu port. My favourite soup base is sukiyaki follow by spicy miso.
It is situated on the first floor of a business building at the busy Juru Auto City junction, next to Haagen Dazs outlet, on your right as you drive in from the North-South Highway Juru Interchange. It has very simple decors but it is very spacious unlike the usual cramped Japanese restaurants in shopping complexes. It is well-lit and clean. The service is fast and friendly. We ordered Soba Sushi Bento consisting of cold buckwheat noodles, unagi sushi, tempura, chicken teriyaki, miso soup and chawan mushi (RM50), Unagi Bento consisting of unagi, chicken in ginger sauce, stir fried bitter gourd, miso soup and chawan mushi (RM45), Shikaniku Black Pepper which is imported venison (RM28) served with garlic rice (RM6), Yari Ika Batayaki or imported giant squid grilled in butter sauce and Ginmutsu Teriyaki, cod fish grilled in teriyaki sauce (RM30). There is a ten per cent service charge. All the portions were quite generous. The taste is just nice and right as it is not too thick in flavour. It is commendable that hot and cold green tea, assorted pickled vegetables as well as wet hand towels are on the house. The prices are fair and reasonable.A good restaurant for a family meal as well as an ideal business meeting place because its wide seating arrangement allows for private chats without being eavesdropped by the other diners. It is definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a Japanese restaurant on the mainland side of Penang or if you are planning to have some private moments over a meal.

Gastromers are always on the hunt for new dining experiences to satisfy their palate.Running out of places to eat in Penang island, a trip across the Penang Bridge to this newly opened Rooftop Restaurant & Wine Bar was worth the change. The restaurant has an open-air concept that allows diners to enjoy the natural atmosphere as well as air conditioned whilst enjoying an open view of the surrounding areas. Interior decorations are simple and appealing and there is an open kitchen, bar section. As there were a few of us, we ordered a variety of both Western and Japanese to savour the taste. For starters and appetizers, we had 1. Katafi prawns 2. Crabmeat cake 3. Smoked Duck breast and mains - Roasted Pork Ramen soup, grilled Salmon with lemon butter & caper sauce and Vongole linguine. The presentation was explicit to appease our savory buds that the taste will be good and they proved right. The restaurant also serves wine but they only sell in bottles at the moment. It would be nice if they start to sell wine by glass in future for those diners who may like to have a glass or two to pair with the cuisine.Who would have guessed that you can enjoy a choice of Western and Japanese fusion in one place? Overall, the trial dining experience across the bridge from the Penang island was a worthwhile journey with good value for money and I would go back to try the other dishes on the menu.
The environment is comfy and the Twilight we ordered was superb! The staff were really helpful with ordering and were very quick with the orders!

Where to eat Malaysian food in Butterworth: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Very arrogant waitress and poor service. Waitress keep on insisting I must order their soup which I have told them 4 times I don't want to have soup for my dinner. Finally, I told off the waitress if you kept on pestering me on the soup, I will leave the restaurant immediately. Food was average and pricey.
