We had dinner here on a Thursday night. Very nice ambience. The place is well laid out and spacious. The staff were very friendly and professional. And the sushi was exceptional. I recommend the tuna and the salmon sushi, together with the OMG roll. The yaki soba was also very tasty. This is an excellent option for sushi if you were staying in or visiting Pismo Beach. There is also a very romantic, beautiful view of the coastline.

PHO PHO PHO PHOBEEF SOUP BEEF SOUPLOVE LOVE LOVE LOVERIGHTIOUS HAWAII-STYLE GRINDS FOUND HERE!After hearing that this placeovernight slowly cooks beef bones forthe real deal Pho broth or other broths, I have been here several times....and I have to say thatthe Chef/Owner really does a PHine job!The friendly owner/chef is ahard working Orcutt fellow who decided tocome up here to the SLO area & make us some legit Vietnamese/Hawaiian grinds.He goes thru the trouble of slow overnight boiling of a vat of bones & meat to makea super-legit broth. LOVE LOVE LOVEBROTH BROTH BROTHAs a 30 yr+ Veteranof all things Pho, I did my part to add theextras that they had on hand.DO NOT FORGET THE STINKY ANCHOVY SAUCE!STINK STINK STINKYUM YUM YUMSo essential. Not to mention the other sauces.I really love that the owner goes thru the troubleof providing the real deal rare tender beef.He uses a nice tender flavorful cut that is ofsuperior quality for sure.ONO ONO ONO [Hawaiian for delicious]BEEF BEEF BEEF The Citrus, the Onion, the Basil, the Cilantro, and add a floralaroma that along with some hot sauce & Jalapeñosare guaranteed to clear up your sinus & titulateyour senses.There are only 3 other places in the 5-Cities/SLOarea that do Pho. One is more of a tourist themedplace in downtown SLO, which is not a fav. The other two are Chinese restaurants/buffets that haveVietnamese owners & both are legit. I would say that broth-wise, this place may at least tie all the rest. While they do not use some more exoticingredients like tripe or tendon, the owner did fixme up with some slow roasted stewing beef...whichwas super nice.This place does make a play on the Surfer/Hawaii theme. Since the only other good Pho place in AG, on Grande,is closed on Mondays, this place is sure to bea go to place for my Monday fix. At about $10, the price is so right since all soups start at around there in this town & can go way up.This is not merely just a soup, but a whole hot mealin a bowl. Who wants some cold fish when thishot ambrosial wonderfulness can bless your buds & gullet?...but on another visit I found that Poke was fresh and quite good.Thank you for the wonderful Pho & soups!

Umi is an awesome sushi chef and uses the freshest organic local ingredients. I'm an adventurous vegetarian foodie, and she makes great sushi customized to my tastes. I had a "Vampire's kiss" roll with berry sauce, chili oil, garlic chips, veggies and tofu slices that took the place of the fish. The flavors were amazing! My husband's "Vampire's kiss" roll had unagi, crab and tuna, along with the sauce, oil and garlic chips. She also makes me a roll that's similar to the Krispy roll that is very good. A little pricey but you get what you pay for!

Love sushi (husband doesn't) but it satisfied us both and we are thankful our local friends took us here. They have traditional sushi/sashimi/entrees but also very creative rolls and other items. All the fish is fresh, tasty & gorgeous presentation. It reminded us of our favorite hometown sushi place, Yashima in Covina, CA....enjoy!

Came with a big group(6). Place was packed because it was a friday night. Oir food came out very quickly. The servers were friendly and the place was clean. Ordered a variety of menu items from the spicy tuna roll, Philadelphia roll, lobster roll, fireball and even teriyaki chicken. No complaints
