Zinal is a village in Switzerland, located in the municipality of Anniviers in the canton of Valais. It lies at an elevation of 1,675 metres (5,495 ft) above sea level in the Swiss Alps in the Val de Zinal, a valley running from the Zinal Glacier, north of Dent Blanche to the village of Ayer, part of the Val d'Anniviers. With the Dent Blanche, four additional 4,000-metre (13,120 ft) peaks are located around the valley: Bishorn, Weisshorn, Zinalrothorn, and Ober Gabelhorn.

The meal we had here was good Italian/European food, as it was off season, the restaurant was almost empty. Service was great, the front of house went over everything with us, and talked to us about wine from the area. Overall a nice meal.

If you are looking for a fantastic fine dining experience in Zermatt, this is the place. Except for one very small complaint below, we were so impressed with everything. Everyone who works here is so attentive to detail. The menu is excellent, easy to combine and all of the dishes our group of five tried were so well presented and tasty. They also cater to special dietary needs on request. We were in foodie heaven! Some of us at the table decided to order an additional main course. This normally creates a problem for the kitchen to time the arrival of our desserts, and anyone who has done this before knows that if the added order it takes too long, the point of ordering a second dish is lost. But the waitress knew all about this and they rush ordered our extra dishes. They have an excellent selection of wines to match everything provided they don't give you the wrong wine menu. That was our only complaint. The food here was quite good but it felt much more commercial than many of the other restaurants we ate at. Location is central and staff were pretty good but it was a bit loud and just seemed quite hectic overall. May be best for larger groups but as I said, the food was really good. We did not eat pizza although it appears they are known for that.

The service is extremely friendly and enthusiastic. Diners are greeted with flutes of Prosecco, a generous gesture and a festive way to start a meal. Thereâs also bruschetta topped with good tomatoes and olive oil. We shared a very good mushroom salad to start. My main course was tagliarini with black truffles. It was so good that when all the pasta was gone, I mopped up the rest of the sauce with bread. The check was delivered to us in the cutest way, so I had to take a photo of it.

Moi qui ne suis pas fan de pizza .. là jâai eu une belle surprise ! Pâte légère et fine et ingrédient frais .. pas de cette affreuse mozzarella industrielle ni sauce tomate en boîte ..ni vieux oignons racornis non ... une pizza légère goûteuse et digeste avec des produits frais et dâun prix très raisonnable . Jâessaierai dâautres plats mais dâores et déjà je conseille a tous ceux qui recherchent ce plat incontournable simple et bon ! Soyez patients sâil y a du monde, vous ne serez pas déçus !

Great pizzas from the former world champion pizza base maker. Visited with the extended family, tried most pizzas, the side salad and a few desserts, very happy with everything. To top it all the 10th pizza is offered, the staff are super friendly and speak a mountain of languages.
