We hadden shoarma, een kidsbox en een pizza. Alles was ondanks de drukte snel klaar en lekker. Vriendelijk personeel en een leuke sfeer. Ook om daar te eten lijkt me niks mis mee maar niet geschikt om gezellig te tafelen.

Every time I have dinner here, it is a pleasure. An italian restaurant, but not of the kind of a simple pizza how delicious that may be, but every time again a delicious 6-8 course surprise diner with a superb wine arrangement that makes the diner sublime.... be sure to have someone with you to drive....

Hier 3 weken geleden gegeten. Voorheen was dit restaurant Marcello, maar nu heeft de broer van hem het stopje overgenomen en het restaurant iets laagdrempeliger gemaakt en dat is een gouden zet. Damiano Gastronomia Porta Via is een restaurant maar ook afhalen is een optie. Perfect.Wij hebben hier heerlijk gegeten. Voorgerecht gevulde paprika, hoofdgerecht een heerlijke dunne pizza met rauwe ham rucola e.d. wat een top smaken waren dat. De huiswijn, Kret, een witte zachte wijn uit het Noorden van Italie is een aanrader. De prijzen zijn uitstekend. De sfeer top. Een aanvulling in Krommenie en zeker een aanrader. Wij zijn fan.

The menu has good variety of italian dishes to choose and the food was also very good.It's located very conveniently close to the bridge that takes you to Zaanse Schans, so we had lunch twice when we visited the windmills.We had a great time, this restaurant has an amazing view to the river and windmills.I went with my husband and the first time the service was excellent, our waiter took good care of us and was attentive to what we need; however the second time we felt abandoned it took a while for someone to take our order and our waitress didn't show up until it was time to go;it may be that they were low on staff that date.Regardless, we would recommend it and go back.Dear guest,Thank you very much for your kind review regarding your visit to Ristorante Il Mulino!Positive reviews like this will always encourage us to do more and more to make our guests happy during their visit. After many years we tried this restaurant again on Valentines day, but it became a disappointment that we still joke about when we talk to others.Service very uninterested and slow. It took 2,5 hours to get two pizza's, because three waiters that took our order didn't do anything with it until I asked them for it for the last time.The pizza was very bad, a mix of the wrong ingredients on it, to hard and not very tasteful as you would expect a pizza to be. Asked for wine with it, but it arrived after we had finished our pizza.We didn't bother for a desert anymore.Would be wise to search another restaurant to get a pizza.

On holiday from the UK and tried Marcello's. Very friendly atmosphere with relaxing surroundings. The staff were very attentive and the menu extensive. A crab starter converted me to crab. Filled pasta dishes had excellent flavours and the sea bass was absolutely outstanding. All the sauces were light unlike the heavy creamy ones in the UK. The wines recommended by Liliane - Marcello's wife - went perfectly with the dishes.Being part of a weekly luncheon club in the UK, I would rate this an A-list restaurant and be making frequent return visits.Highly recommended.

Popped into la forchetta based on a trip advisor reviews and have to say i really enjoyed it. Service and food were fantastic. The waitress was really friendly and made some really good recommendations from the menu. Pleased we used a local restaurant rather than going into the city. Price was very reasonable too.
