We dined here on Saturday night, from the outset the service was great. We shared a Bruschetta pizza for entree then a large pizza for main along with a Carafe of the house red wine. The service was first class as it always is - total cost $41 - amazing!

We came as a group of eight for pre-Theatre dinner. We were all immediately impressed with the stylish decor and spaciousness of the restaurant. The service was good and all our food came out quickly which was important as we had to get to the show on time. The menu has lots of great choices. The meatballs were really tasty and the gnocchi was the softest I have ever tasted. We chose two pizzas and the fluffy bases were perfecto. The pizza oven in really impressive. Itâs huge with lovely black ceramic tiles. Good wine list. We were all really impressed and I will be back with my family. Wollongong has gained some very good Italian restaurants and pizzerias in the last couple of years. Itâs a wonder itâs taken so long with our large Italian population. Highly recommend Pizzeria 50! Now if we could just get a pizza restaurant of this calibre in the northern suburbs of Wollongong!

My husband and I had dinner here last night. It was the first time we had been here and it will definitely not be the last. White tablecloths, but not necessarily a sophisticated space. Relaxed but attentive service. We had the zucchini flowers (the Neapolitan version with a touch of anchovy) and the ravioli entrees. The zucchini flowers were perfectly cooked in a tempura batter, not oily at all, and the tiny zucchini still crunchy. The ravioli was a rich dish and generous in size. Probably too generous, in fact, for my husband, but he demolished it regardless. We chose the slow cooked lamb shoulder and veal scaloppine for mains. Both were beautifully cooked and presented. The lamb was meltingly tender, as you would expect. It could have had a little more jus with it, I thought, but it was not fatty at all, as lamb can be. Lemony potatoes were an excellent accompaniment. The veal was good too, and plentiful. We had an Italian Barbera to accompany the meal, which was a good choice. I liked that after pouring the first glass for each of us the waiter was happy for us to choose our own pace and top up ourselves (I hate the way many places keep filling the glass after two sips in the hope you will finish the bottle quickly and buy another). Can't report on dessert as we did not have room!

Popped in for some takeaway and the service was quick, friendly and efficient. Delicious pizza and a place Iâd definitely like to go back to and eat-in.

This restaurant was almost directly below our accommodation, which was initially (but after some research) a contributing factor in our choice for dinner.Walking towards the place we noticed it was empty, but, we were quite early. An enquiry as to a table resulted in us being told that they were booked out but had only got off the phone with a cancellation.Shown to a nice table, drinks order prompt.Shared the mussels and a great pizza in which the staff where quite accommodating in some minor changes to their menu.Overall, a great family run business with genuine Italian cuisine, quite ambience and staff very attentive.Would definitely return when in the area.

I find the menu construction at Kneading Ruby's to be always to be commended. the balance between the dishes of moving beyond Australian traditional Italian food to be refreshing. The service was attentive and professional. The open space suits the sought after atmosphere but I was a bit cold on the night we visited.

Northbeach Pavilion Pizza Restaurant, Bar & Kiosk is located in the iconic and Heritage Listed North Beach Bathers Pavilion on the beautiful North Wollongong Beach. The restaurant is a light filled space with a contemporary yet casual dining room and bar
Fresh airy cafe focussing on cuppaccinos, juices, and snacks. One complaint I do Gabe is the cups they use are not legal-they cant be. They are not heat insulated and be careful as you cant hold the cups for long before the heat starts to burn your hand.
