It is part of the District of Braintree and is twinned with the town of Waldbröl, Germany. Witham stands between the city of Chelmsford (8 miles to the south-west) and the town of Colchester (13 miles to the north-east), on the Roman road between the two. We visited as we had some Tesco vouchers to use, this particular Prezzo seems to have a better feel than a few we have been in and the staff were particularly accommodating. I had the Calamari, which although not the prettiest looking dish, it was enjoyable. We both ordered a pizza and it was lovely and had a nice thin base. I'm not 100% convinced it's the best Italian in the area, but we did have a lovely meal in a nice surrounding.
