Nice atmosphere, good service and great tasting food. A little pricey, but well worth it. Never ate there before and didn't go on recommendation, just took a chance and it was worth it, will patronize it again. Really good all around.

Walking into this restaurant wowed me right away. Beautiful bar and spacious nicely decorated dining room. Our server was super friendly and efficient. The menu is extensive and imaginative- they have burgers, pizza, Panini's, wraps, Italian, fish dishes, steak and, so much more. We had a chimichuura spring roll which was really different, delicious and had a nice kick. We also had a pizza and a panini with chicken, fresh mozzarella and pesto. Yummy! For dessert we had a crème brulé cheesecake which was the perfect ending to the meal. The prices are super reasonable. Can't wait to go back!

Cascarinoâs Grilled Srimp Salad was delicious with its fresh big shrimps and perfect tasting and textured balsamic vinaigrette. My husband enjoyed his grilled chicken with salad very much.Their complimentary bread was served warm which appreciate but with its texture and taste, it is not one of the best bread.Service is speedy, friendly and staff are attentive!

Their pizza is fantastic! They also offer a full italian menu that offers delicious dishes as well. I cater all my parties with their food. Freddy's is simply the best!

This Italian restaurant has everything- charm, ambience, great service and delicious food! We loved it from start to finish. The osso bucco was falling off the bone tender and the eggplant parmesan was perfect. The portions are generous. Nice wine selection and the prices are very reasonable. Can't wait to go back!

This evening went for dinner with my daughter for the 1st time. We like Italian food, so chose to go to Il Nocello in Whitestone. We were disappointed, mostly from the unprofessional service. The meal was OK, though the prices were above average (By the way, the prices shown on the menu in Trip Advisor were $3-4 higher). The first interaction with the server (who later identified himself as "William", when I got the bill and asked him for his name) was frustrating. He asks us: "What do you want to drink?" I tell him: " Let's have a drinks menu at first, and then we'll tell what we want". Then, when we were eating (I was in the middle of my plate, my daughter just had started to work on her plate), he passes by and asks us:"Are you done?". I was so unpleasantly surprised, that I said only a firm:"No!" I have the impression that the server sniffed that I was unsatisfied, and, most probably, he gave me a fake name. From the accent and the appearance, he surely was a Hispanic man, probably a Mexican, of middle age. Anyway, I gave him a 16% tip, though he deserved nothing. But we are educated people and won't allow ourselves to be rude and revengeful. They lost us forever as customers. Gus

I've been here several times and never had a complaint. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.I ordered the mahi mahi over spinach and would have ordered a second one if I thought I could finish it all (fish isn't the easiest thing to reheat). It was a special that night. If you happen to be there on a night when they're serving it - order it. You will not be disappointed!!

After visiting the botanical gardens, feeling peckish and craving pizza we checked our go to on-line adviser and off we drove 20 minutes to this homey pizzeria. Servers smiled and warmly greeted us as we entered. The space appears small but there was a sunny welcoming outdoor dining area. We felt as if we were dining at the home a a friend. My slice had the requirements of good pizza; thin crispy crust with a hint of salt that crunches just a bit when I sliced my incisors through it with a thin layer of cheese that when pulled from my teeth formed a string from my mouth to the slice. A light layer of sauce added a bit of acid and sweetness that enhanced the flavors. The pizza was not oily. Priced at $3.25; a bit expensive.OK, now the CALZONES; the best I ever had. A variety of these cheese stuffed breads were available. I had the broccoli rabe. It was huge, enough for dinner. The crust was nicely thin yet thick enough to hold the savory ingredients, slightly salty filled with mozzarella cheese and fresh tasting broccoli rabe. I side of red sauce for dipping added sweet, salty moisture. My husband had the chicken parm. calzone; he gobbled it up so quickly, I just know he enjoyed it. Each were reasonably priced at $6.50Things to know, ample parking, cash only, ATM available and no delivery.

We live on 2nd Ave but have not been here for many years. Had family coming in and wanted a casual lunch. Well this was the perfect place. Venessa our waitress was very nice and helpful. The food was delicious. Some had pasta dishes and the rest fish dishes. Everything was good. The only problems I see are the parking and itâs smaller inside then I thought.
