I am not sure why 'Firenze' is not nearer the top of the restaurant rankings in Wedemark as a colleague and I ate dinner here and we both thought the food and the restaurant ambiance was very good. Prices were also reasonable and service was good... I would certainly recommend it.We both had the Scampi al Forno to start, which was excellent, followed by the Tagliatelle with Fillet Steak and the Linguine with Salmon (and I added some Gorgonzola). I really enjoyed my starter and my linguine and the olives and bread we had were also excellent. Including a 0.5L Bitburger Beer and a glass of Merlot the total cost of our meal was â¬49.80, which I think was very good value. Firenze in my mind certainly deserves to be ranked in the Top 5 restaurants.

We went for lunch the service was rather slow and the food a little overpriced for what you get. There is a wide choice in the menu but not very interesting.

Wir haben die Inhaber schon vor über 20 Jahren kennen gelernt und bis heute sind wir ihnen treu geblieben. Hier kocht der Chef noch selbst ... mittlerweile der Sohn, aber vom "Meister" persönlich gelernt. Das ist wirklich italienische Küche, wie die Inhaber sie von Sizilien mitgebracht haben, ohne die ganzen eingedeutschten Varianten.Was soll man dazu viel schreiben ... einfach selber hingehen und mal dort essen ! Liebe geht durch den Magen und wir sind immer noch in die "Küche" verliebt.
