Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Virgin Gorda. Life is just a little bit slower on Virgin Gorda, so named because this British Virgin Island resembles a large reclining woman. The laid-back pace of the island is the perfect excuse to take your time, whether you’re wading along the granite grottoes of The Baths, doing some casual snorkeling in Devil’s Bay, or exploring the stone ruins of a 19th century Copper Mine. Hanging out in the hammock at Mad Dog while you sip a Painkiller is the ultimate in Virgin Gorda relaxation.

Amongst the famous Virgin Gorda's boulders with waterfalls cascading down. Incredible natural setting. New addition: the Treehouse restaurant. A walk through nature for an experience ABOVE IT ALL !!!
My husband and I dined at the Rock Cafe as part of package at Mango Bay Resort. We were the only people in the restaurant and the Piano Bar was closed for the season which was a little disappointing. We had lobster and it was nicely prepared. The cocktails were tasty and the service was good. The treehouse is reserved for special occasions but has amazing views and worth checking out. A little pricey but our $120 credit made it affordable.

Made reservations here for our last night on Virgin Gorda due to many recommendations and the excellent reviews on this site, but we were honestly disappointed with our meal there. The setting is fantastic and did not disappoint- many steps up to a lovely small dining room with balconies and a panoramic view. Our meals were delicious, with attentive service, but nothing special compared to several other island restaurants that are less expensive. We were already adjusted to the high food costs on VG, but this restaurant had the smallest portions and most overpriced wine. If you're spending >$100 per person you should not be leaving hungry! We skipped dessert and stopped at Buck's grocery on the way home for a second dinner and ice cream. We would not return to this restaurant on our next visit to the island.

Thought it was going to be an incredible meal...location is beautiful but the pasta and seafood dishes were on the bland side...very expensive so I guess that added to the let down. I was so looking forward to an "Italy" quality restaurant. Maybe we chose wrong??
Another great dining experience. The atmosphere and views are over the topLimited menu but with more than adequate choices presentation and flavors are memorable .We have had dinner here three times the past two weeks.A great bar area to meet peopleReservation recommendedWait staff are most accommodating and very knowledgeable.
