It's really great if you expect to eat simple pasta and potatoes which were previously frozen. I've attached photos of meals my husband and I ate. First we took half liter of their house wine which was very nice, then antipasto "Gnocco Fritto" and "Salume tipico Piacentino" which were really tasteful. I would give five stars for this one BUT "Gnocco Fritto" arrived 30 minutes after Salume so we ate Gnocco the way it shouldn't suppose to be eaten. Then, Primi Piatti arrived, "Anvei in brodo alla piacentina" and "Tortelli di zucca alla piacentina". The taste was nothing special. You can eat it but you don't really say "mmmm". Then Secondi Piatti, Stracotto d'asinina con polenta fritta - this meat was good but had too much vinegar for my taste. My husband took Spallotto di vitello al forno, he said it was "eatable". The shock was "Contorni" - Patate al forno - the worse I ever saw!!! Check out the photo! They look couple of days old and they don't look like there were in forno at all!!! This was really NOT eatable.They have a really great location and borgo looks amazing but they are not investing to repair it. Too bad. I really hope that constructive critics can help to their business.

In occasione di matrimonio ottima location, buona accoglienza. Aperitivo in piedi con stuzzichini vari, abbondanti e buoni. Primi buoni e sicuramente ben fatti, un vero peccato che siano stati serviti nel medesimo piatto vanificando totalmente il lavoro del cuoco. Risotto con pesche mandorle e basilico gusti delicati servito nel residuo dei precedenti tortelli burro e salvia.....risultato: un mischiozzo di gusti assai poco probabili che nulla avevano a che fare con le intenzioni. Servizio al tavolo assolutamente poco efficiente. Peccato perché il potenziale c'è e si intuisce bene.....coraggio potete farcela.

This is a restaurant which specialises in fresh fish and seafood, although there are plenty of other choices. Seafood pasta (especially the spaghetti vongole) is highly recommended. The staff are friendly, and there is plenty of seating - the restaurant is much bigger than it appears from the outside.

Fermati su suggerimento di TA in cerca di un buon pranzo, sulla strada per Grazzano Visconti, abbiamo trovato un ambiente semplice, tanta cortesia, un ottimo antipasto di salumi e formaggi misti con torta fritta e buoni primi (tagliatelle ai funghi e ravioli di magro, leggermente insipidi). Un discreto Gutturnio mosso della casa, una torta sbrisolona non eccelsa ma neanche da buttare, due caffé e due digestivi per un totale di 60 euro (senza scontrino...), conto un po' altino per la tipologia di locale. Comunque ci tornerei per premiare velocità , cortesia e pulizia. N.B. E' un locale frequentato dai "locali", quindi normalmente la cosa depone a garanzia di qualità !

I live nearby and assumed to be a "local guy" so please take care about previous comments, it is absolutely not a top restaurant for Piacenza and surroundings...!!!! The location is good, on the beautiful hills beteeen Rivergaro and Vigolzone but food is absolutely avarage level.They quantity is huge and you always pay the same for the bill, no matter what you order at the end your bill will be around 30/35 â¬uros but quality is so and soProbably for people living in big towns like Milano it seems delicious food but it is not and probably who posted previous comments never had the chance to taste original quality food.Of course it is better than McDonald's or Autogrill restaurant but do not expect a food experience.Moreover the ambient seemed to me more like a canteen (noisy rooms, long tables, many people shouting, kids screaming...To be asolutely avoided for romantic dinners.

Really lovely trattoria type restaurant deep in the countryside with really good local cuisine. The antipasti and starters were very unusual and delicious. The rest of the menu was equally good. Worth a visit.

We visited this site based on Trip Advisor's ratings, and are we ever glad we did. This deli is as good as it gets. We ordered our lunch by asking the owner to bring his recommendations. We each had a glass of wine, one red and one white - again, we asked for his recommendations. The food and wine were excellent, as was the owner's personal touch. The owner sees to everything personnally and obviously cares about the customers' satisfaction. This place would be easy to miss in a small village, but should not be missed!

A bit far from the town centre, but an absolute gem of a restaurant!Seafood is king here, but it's hard to choose as all the dishes are tempting...We had fish carpaccios for starters, and then a shrimp risotto, which was devine, all washed down with a delicious locally produced organic white wine.The waiter was very friendly, and the restaurant was spacious and nicely decorated. An eating experience that we are not likely to forget! :)
