Vic is an ancient and historic town which has a magnificent square surrounded by wonderful buildings. It has a well marked tourist trail which is of great interest. We chose this restaurant as we finished the trail and were delighted with the food we had, the service and the friendliness of the staff. You could watch them working the dough and putting the pizzas in the ovens. The Gin & Tonics were large but after the walk the beer went down a treat too. Tried the tiramisu and that was big enough to share. The restaurant has a wide ranging menu and caters well for vegetarians with salads pizzas etc. We sat outside in the shade and it was good for people watching especially the guy in the shop next door who seemed on a mission to get every passer-by into his shop.Vic is a must visit town and try this restaurant - you will not be disappointed.

Pizzas are delicious with good ingredients. There are three sizes, ideal for kids or if you are not very hungry. If you do not want to wait until late, you must go early. Service is very slow when restaurant is full. Good decoration upstairs in an old building. We repeat every year for MMVV.
Pizzeria in a spacious and pleasant place in the center of Vic. You will find Mediterranean cuisine, especially pastas and pizzas made with the best quality product.
El Raco have recently taken over this restaurant site and we visited on their first day Mon 26 Aug. It was our first night in Vic so we were keen to sit outside and enjoy the atmospheric square. The staff were young but attentive and friendly and we enjoyed our drinks and food so much that later the same week we made a reservation on the Saturday night 31 Aug.The reservation was for 8pm (early in the eyes of the locals) and we specifically wanted to sit outside as my daughter and her boyfriend had just arrived in Vic. Unlucky for us it was a wet evening! No problem as the staff showed us to a table they had prepared inside. We were slow to decide on our starters and main courses so staff came to our table 2 or 3 times to help us decide. There was an English menu but we wanted extra help deciding on the right mixture of croquettes. We did not want to over order. We also ordered some pizzas, risotta alla norma & el fenomenal as mains. This is where our experience went wrong. The starters arrived and before we had finished the starters they were delivering the mains. We were wanting a leisurely evening so that we could catch up with our daughter and her boyfriend and it was so clear that the restaurant wanted us out as quick as possible so they could churn the table. We had not finished our mains and they tried to clear the table and rush us into choosing a dessert. It felt like they were just trying to maximise the profit. We did not have a dessert - we would have but we did not feel valued. It was wet outside and the waiting customers were getting agitated in the doorway. It felt intimidating so said my 15 year old son. The queue was badly managed and I think that you need to operate a better method. Maybe do a list and take mobile numbers so that it is more orderly and you can meet the expectations of people who are waiting. It is wrong to rush your guests who are trying to enjoy the experience. The food was good - it just arrived too quickly. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere - good lighting and it was well designed inside.Don't bully or patronise your customers. We were on holiday in your lovely town and we enjoyed our Catalan experience but please let your customers have time to enjoy the food. Also relook at how you manage people waiting in the entrance for a table. From then on we ate at La Gruta just around the corner.

Found La Trattoria by luck but what luck. Made the mistake of ordering salad as starter, should have been main course. Full by time my main meal arrived. Used it a few times afterwards and never disappointed. Service fast and pleasant. Very popular with locals, always busy.

Our pizzas were half burnt on the dough, regular size, none of us could finish it!Not to talk about the desserts... They were all "finished", so at the end we had to take our fourth option. Our waiter was even ashamed.A total fake, worst example of Italian "wannabe"; save your money and visit any other. Atentamente, Il Piccolo Biondo.

Went here last night with a party of 5. Great service, brilliant food. Lovely place. Had the 7 cheese pizza, my mate had the vegetarian spinach, pepper and onion. Both excellent pizza's. The deserts were outstanding as well. Not frozen crap, you get in Britain.

Absolutely recommendable! The evening menu is delicious and at a real good price! It always includes a mixture of starters that change daily and are super fresh and tasty. Absolutely my favorite Italian restaurant ever! Too bad it is not open every day :)

Absolutely fantastic, highly authentic Italian food. It's a cosy but welcoming place with a great atmosphere and it's run by very nice, friendly people. Every week they choose a few new dishes from around Italy, so there's always an interesting choice on the menu.Ameici Miie is quickly becoming one of my favourite restaurants in Vic, and definitely my favourite Italian. They also have excellent wine choices, and the absolute BEST pannacotta I have ever tasted.Highly recommended!

We really wanted something quick with not too much effort in making a choice of what to eat, so pizza seemed the best option.Friendly service with ambient environment inside, i would imagine at weekends you would need to book, we opted for the Hawaiian and a pizza with pear and Gorgonzola cheese both were delicious and followed with home made cheesecake and tarte tatin both were delicious. Bill was good value and Would definitely return.
