The CDP of Verdi, California lies immediately adjacent across the state line. Both are in the shadow of California's Verdi Range. In 2010, the population was 1,415. Prior to 2010, the community was listed by the U.S. Census Bureau as part of the Verdi-Mogul CDP.

What a great evening was had last night as we enjoyed a delicious Italian meal. Johnnyâs is locally owned by Louis a second-generation. You might even see Louis sharing smiles and enjoying chatting with the guests. The wine extensive selection is exceptional with domestic and foreign vineyards. The menu has something for everyone and the house-made desserts will complete your visit to Johnnyâs Ristoriante Italiano.I loved my pasta and we even ordered a steak to bring home. Oh my goodness this is a must for visitors and locals.A #abouttowndeb favorite.

Had dinner there last evening; celebrating a friend's birthday. My friend's ordered plates of pasta and I never saw so much pasta in a plate, it could have served all of us at the table. My friend's remarked how delicious the food was. My husband and I had the Salmon and it was also delicious served with a vegetable and potatoes. The waiter brought some Tiramisu for the birthday boy with a candle on top. It was a great dinner and we walked out with full tummies.Hello,Happy belated birthday for your friend and we so appreciate you choosing our La Strada for the birthday celebration. Had the clapping and it was very good. In addition to scallops, shrimp, mussels, clams, and calamari, this dish had salmon and bass. Location is superb in terms of view. Menu was a little sparse, but food was good. Cream brûlée was creamy. Ambiance good.

A Friday night visit with good friends and a warm welcome at Campo awaited. There is a good selection of beers and I hit upon a superb ichthyosaurus ale.The starters came and were very nice...a sharing selection of which I loved the spicy cauliflower.Main courses were next and were the disappointment. Donât get me wrong, by no means bad, they just couldnât live up to the starters and were nothing special. Over cooked in places and the base just needs to be looked at as it wasnât the easiest to eat.The waitress did offer for my friend to have her pizza redone as the edge had burnt but the kind offer was declined.With a little bit of tweaking, this lovely place by the river could be special.

Located near Univ of Nevada Reno, we were not surprised by the constant flow of college kids picking up pizzas. Very casual, small place with laminate tables. Ordered the "breath buster" large pizza for about $20. Good flavor, and thankfully not to spicy. Very good-although we usually prefer the crust crispier. Crust was chewy - and really good dipped in the ranch dressing.
