Tuna that tasted of meat, a hair in the first plate of vegetables and the substitute plate blatantly defrosted 3 seconds before, as well as the waitress appearing terribly insulted that I would dare point any of this out, I expected more. 2 stars because my husband's steak with funghi porcini and truffle was excellent, and I have to say the pasta dishes did look very inviting.

Amazing food and very high quality local sourced ingredients. Some food combinations are quite different and adventurous but they work and produce spectacular dishes that you may have never tasted before. One of the best restaurants I know. Good quality food, very polite and helpful staff, lovely in the summer when you can eat out as well. Highly recommended for special occasions or also for a meal out. Prices are medium high but it is well worth it.

A dream come true! After years in the kitchen, Chef Pino realizes his dream and, with his wife Luisella, gives life to a miniature Restaurant in the historical centre of Tuscania where they can welcome their customers as at home. Chef Pino is a histrionic
We went there twice in two days. Pino and Luisella are the owners and fantastic hosts. They are wonderful warm people... extremely friendly. I know that I have personally made new life-long friends. Luisella is more than kind and Pino is a very creative chef. Listen to what he suggests and you will think you had the best Italian food this side of heaven. And, oh by the way, my husband was born and raised in Italy but has lived in the States since he was 21... and is now a "senior citizen" and he thinks that Pino's food is some of the best in Italy.

In the middle of the ancient medieval village of Tuscania, "Le Sette Cannelle" offers a wide choice of typical dishes of Tuscia, true specialties for those who love tradition, good food and genuine flavors and a wide range of pizzas with original and tast
The restaurant has a nice outdoor terrace for warm-weather dining -- I didn't really explore the interior. Pasta with wild boar rage was not terribly exciting, but the gnocchi with spek ham in a creamy sauce was quite good. Seemed to host a combination of tourists and locals.

I was here with a group of friends from Viterbo (the nearby town) and we extremely enjoyed place and food in a convivial atmosphere. 1. The place: it's situated at the center of one of the more beautiful medieval "borgo" of all the province. We went on evening but if you come by morning you can enjoy a spectacular panorama over the upfront valley. 2. The food: I took a delicious appetizer of local cheese and cured meats. Next I went for a carbonara with truffle, never tried like that and it's amazing. All meats come from sustainable and local (km0) farm animals.3. Beverages: you have a wide range of red and white wines, all from biological cultures! All very good.4. Personnel: perfect service and really kind people even too much! They brought us some tonic liquor at the end we didn't even ask.To try.

In our Shop & Farm Country Amica you can find our products and those of other farms .... We organize tastings. You will find a familire, traditional cuisine all at KM0 !!! Meat specialties to the plate !!
The food was really good: especially the carciofi and potatoes starters were excellent. Everything is prepared with fresh organic ingredients, most of them made at the farm. Make sure to have much time - since everything is so fresh, it takes very long to be served. Vegans can eat here.

Cichi's is the quintessential of beauty among antique and modern. It's a mingle of the purity of a cuisine old school and the research of innovation. That's what I found in this restaurant last night where I was for a dinner with friends. Its relaxed atmosphere welcomes you in the subtle luxury, elegantly given to the guests with the soft coloured tables and chairs, the lovely glass multicoloured chandeliers hanging from the ancient ceilings of the caves. Yes because half of the restaurant is in the original natural grotto made of the typical stone of this area, tuff.So that when you enter, your attention is straight away absorbed by what must have been there for thousands of years and you are embraced by the warmth of natural stone and the cosy shape of a cave. Some tables are set in corners with soft light and ensure a certain intimacy. One larger room can accommodate larger groups.Once seated a polite waitress comes to take your drinks order that for us was local bottled water and a white Sauvignon from the northern Italian region Friuli, well chilled and nicely stored in an ice bucket hanged at the side of the table. Our starters came well presented, mine in particular was a mouthwatering polenta( made with corn flour) smothered with a small waterfall like of mashed cod on a thin layer of a green sauce pesto. The other starters were equally good and scenic.First courses were very tasty ravioli with braise, orecchiette pasta with a lovely tomato sauce, a salmon burgher in a homemade bun with sepia and chips. All came in high quality porcelain white plates that truly enhanced the good looking presentation of the food.Last but not least the heavenly desserts. We choose four different types and really couldn't tell which one was the best. We all tried a bit of each and praised them all. The chocolate, cream and curd profiteroles served in a one only large puff, was overwhelming for the palate. The coffee mousse with puff pastry flakes just melted in the mouth. All of them looking like a painting, presented with inventiveness. The good quality of the food gave our evening such a pleasant time. But it is also the discrete yet elegant presence of the owners that give a special touch to the guests staying. They are always there checking that all is well and willing to spend a word with the clients. This is a restaurant to keep an eye on. It's also a good idea to follow the seasons with them because their menu changes with the seasonal products.Beautiful location in this town Tuscania, so full of art and around,a landscape of lush nature.

The concept of "dieci sedie" (ten chairs) restaurant develops from the desire to offer a new restaurant experience, uncomplicated and enjoyable. Let the chef tell you the menù of the day based on the availability of the best seasonal and local ingredients
Really excellent, thoughtful cooking in a charming corner of pretty Tuscania, (visit San Pietro and Santa Maria Maggiore). Fixed menu of fishy delights, lost track of the number of dishes that came out. All were delicious. â¬40 each for a feast including wine, water, pudding, coffee and digestif. A real treat, thank you!
