The restaurant is nice, cosy and clean! We got wonderful suggestions for vegetarian food and it was really excellent! Also the food from the menue was perfect. Very friendly service and warm-hearted atmosphere! The special olive oil was amazing, the wine excellent!

We had been told about the restaurants surrounding the lake when we happened upon Zefferinos! Thank God we did. The staff is perhaps the friendliest we have found in passignano and the meats and cheeses were scrumptious! Relax on the front porch and take in the scenery. Where other locations are pretentious, this is the real deAl!5 stars and then some!!

We ate here for lunch and dinner during our stay, and loved every minute. This team provides a level of attentive service that is both excellent and genuinely warm. We were certainly impressed with the kitchen (and the wine cellar is full of treasures) but it was the funny, engaging, delightful staff that put our experience over the top. Such a find!

Carlo's Trattoria Del Pescatore is set back one block off the main shorefront at Passignano frequented by locals. We have bee patronising the restaurant for years, usually for Sunday lunch at one of the tables under the pergola in the street. The welcome is friendly and reservations are essential. Located off Lag Trasimeno it's hardly surprising the menu is seafood, beautifully cooked in a friendly authentic milieu. After ordering a nice Grechetto, on different occasions our party of 4 shared a platter of seafood antipasti, which included perch, carp, tench, and pile, and a side order of lightly fried white bait. For prima, two of us then shared small dish of home made pasta with tench sauce and then all of us followed with the restaurant's signature dish: boccarone cooked in aluminium foil with fennel, lemon and other herbs in the oven, and served with roast potatoes and grilled vegetables. Delicious. We finished with tiramisu, coffee and limoncello.Could not be better for a lazy Sunday lunch in an ambient setting. As usual, service by the family members was excellent.Of course we will return.

restaurant with typical Umbrian dishes and seafood. The evening is also a pizzeria with wood oven.ristorante con cucina tipica umbra e piatti a base di pesce di mare. La sera è anche pizzeria con forno a legna.
Went there for an family evening meal. The restaurant has a very big terrace which is really nice. The menu has a large selection of dishes. But when we arrived, we were ignored by staff for a little while before they gave us a table (it was a busy evening but still....) and we had to keep searching for a waiter to be able to order .The food portion are large but nothing exceptional.

Great view of the lake, unusually for this area in a slightly secluded location so you are away from the hustle and bustle and eternal traffic. Lovely park which is dog friendly. Good food - the fried lake fish is delicious - and good pasta, with some slightly unusual combinations. Definitely a place to come back to.

On the slopes of a hill, like a window on Lake Trasimeno, is the Restaurant Antica Dogana. In Summer you will welcome a wonderful rustic-style garden, and in winter two small rooms painted by Walter Pituello and a wood stove, make your event very romantic

A mysterious name evoking ancient times and tormented love stories consumed amidst the walls of this ancient residence, a few steps from the shores of Lake Trasimeno. In the countryside between Umbria and Tuscany, just 10 minutes from Cortona, I Capricci
We ate here twice whilst staying in the hotel, the first night with 4 friends who also really enjoyed the experience.During our two visits we tasted the risotto with peaches & ham (sublime), melon & proscuitto, fillet steak & sliced steak as well as the potato & mushroom starter & pasta with tomato & chilli sauce. All were very good & the cheese cake (pina colada I think) was outstanding.Specials stayed the same both nights which was a shame but the variety is pretty good on the a la carte & prices were very reasonable. Wine & prosecco at 15 euros a bottle is very good VFM.Service was slow on night 1 but very efficient on night 2. Would definitely recommend.Dear McAnnie1,thank you for the positive review, we're happy you enjoyed your dinnets in our Restaurant ! Sorry if the service was slow for the first night but thank you for the second chance ;)We hope to have you as our guest in the futureOur best regards,Arianna, Stefano and the Staff

We were staying in a hotel nearby so saw the restaurant rated highly for the locality. On arrival we were greeted by Claudia herself who told us that the food is all handmade using ingredients they grew and animals they bred themselves on the farm, they even press their own wine which we enjoyed so much we bought a bottle to bring home! The food was absolutely delicious and obviously extremely fresh and the service was attentive particularly Roberto who was keen on informing us of the source of the ingredients and how they made it to our plates which we loved! Definitively give Claudiaâs âgardenâ a try!! Thank YOU!!!Claudia Russo
