Even dough i had not too much expectation about this litlle restaurant i was very surprised in a good way especially regarding the food. Iâm a fan of fish dish and i was very pleased when i have tasted the fish soup (storceag) made with sturgeon fish. The price for it was very low and the dish was more like 5 star restaurant.

It is a nice place with a terrace. Their specialty should be fish but the appetizer was rather salty and the sturgeon stew had plenty of vegetables and little fish, and it was pretty bland too. The waiter spoke no English or any other language than Romanian. They accept credit cards but you have to pay at the hotel.

We went on a trip to the Danube Delta and our boat pick up point was the dock of La Marcu Restaurant. We had lunch here and the staff was very nice. The menu is very generous and the food is quite ok. Upon our return we stopped again and had another lunch here and the overall experience was similar. Waiting time was longer this time around, but dully justified as the restaurant was full.

Great meal with fellow travellers. The manager was super busy but really friendly and helpful. Huge range of dishes and the pasta was delicious. Also a very decent wine list! Definitely recommended if you're in the Tulcea area!

It was a bit busy when we wandered in. Eventually found a member of staff who told us to sit anywhere. There appeared to be 1 waitress for about 25 tables. Waited for 15 mins and nobody came with a menu, so left.The meal might eventually have been wonderful, but we wanted to eat while we were still young enough to enmjoy it.

We had two meals here.One was a very delicious pizza with some friends. Good prices and very good quality, made with wooden fire.The second time we ordered steak with baked potatoes and salad. Also cooked well and nicely organised.Recommended for a relaxing dinner/lunch.
