We are typical salento restaurant we propose ancient recipes and dishes from the mediterranean tradition re-launched starting from the search for safe and genuine products.
A small menu with local typical food. Inexpensive alcohol and food. The food was filled with taste and the staff worked hard to translate Italian to English. Top marks. You must go here, the setting is gorgeous and. The food so tasty

I had dinner last night with friends, atmosphere was ok, service a bit slow and what surprised me the most was ordering something and getting something completely different!Basically what I ordered was a massive steak ( "Fiorentina") and after waiting a good 30 minutes a T bone steak arrived: meat was cooked perfectly side dishes were ok but i got whaqt i didnt order.after dinner I told the waiter that he gave me something different and he tried to explaing me that that steak and t bone steak are different and that he gave me a normal steak. However i left satisfied and happy. t bone or not t bone !Back to UK ill recommend it to everyonehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T-bone_steak#Anatomy_of_the_T-Bone

Super votata!!!

We are non- Italians living in Italy (Salento). On a recent visit to the charming city of Tricase to see the 800 year old oak tree, we decided to have lunch at "La Cistareddha"On our entree we were greeted by Roberta, who made us immediately feel at home in this clean and comfortable place. As there is obviously no need for a formal printed or written menue, Roberta explained that la cistareddha is their special form of "antipasti".We decided to go for it and also ordered a jug of their excellent dry house rosato. Then a train of cold and warm dishes started to arrive with Roberta telling us what each one consisted of.There were mushrooms, eggplant, fresh vegetables, beans cheeses mussles and more, each one a compliment to Alessandro, the Chef. The restaurant is family owned by Roberta and her 2 brothers who can rightly be proud of their successful establishment.A "must" when visiting this part of Italy!

During summer it is a very busy place. Better book a table. After that, even if you have to wait for a table, it is worth it. Friendly stuff, delicious pizzas . But El Paso is not only pizzas. You can have a very good dinner with your friends or family and have a good laugh with the waiters. Thinking about it, I have watery mouth! Go and TASTE by yourself.

From the moment your turn the corner and see Locanda Del Levante you know itâs going to be a beautiful experience. The interior is as lovely as the exterior. Service was good - staff were very accommodating to dietary requirements (in particular vegan options). All food was good however, while the dips were a lovely starter, they were quite over priced. I would recommend Locanda Del Levante for an architecturally inspiring dinner. Dear Emmajane thank you so much for your review, we are glad that you enjoyed our restaurant and we hope to meet you again at our tables. Prices of the dishes are due to the high quality of ingredients that we use at Locanda del Levante, all fresh and cooked at the moment!

Food was perfect, The first restaurant in Italy where the service is actually good. The main waiters spoke English and translated the menu to English which was very nice. The servers were kind. Overall I would say in terms of service this is one of the best places in Salento. The food, especially antipasto for 2 was amazing.

Organic farm with a small stone mill. Offers fixed-menu meals based on vegetables and cereals grown on site and local product. Educational farm of "Regione Puglia", hosts activities for children and adults thanks to the presence of a family of friendly do
We have been several times with friends and children, organic food comes from their crops, Carlo introduces the dishes served at the beginning of each dinner, explains the origin and the work done by him and Irene, his girlfriend, and a group of friends who work on the farm. The traditional dishes of Salento are excellent and genuine flavor and intense. The wine is organic and of excellent quality. During the week they have different educational programs for children, our grand daughter has followed a course of archeology. A place to follow them carefully if you make a holiday in Salento.Dear friend, your description of the farm is simply beautiful! We appreciate your words because they show you got the meaning of our work and this is the most important thing for us. We are happy to be in touch with people like you and your family, as we always say: you are the reason of our existence! So thank you and see you soon in the Masseria!

Typical italian restaurant - south italy (Salento)
The restaurant in a small town of Spongano has outside seating in the piazza in summer, where you can see the locals gather at night and the locals can watch the tourists. The menu is both in English and Italian, and the food was average for the price we paid. Pros - quick service and English menu with local food. Cons - plastic chairs with paper tablecloth, peppers and salt in paper bags, we did not always get the dish we ordered. If you like a fine dining experience, this place is not for you.Hi and thanks for your review. We are a trattoria not a fine dining. Here you Can have an homemade and handcraft experience and making you feel at home without any kind of bling bling. We use paper table cloth and plastic chairs because we have to set the Place up before the service and breaking it down at the end. We are really Sorry if we did not live up your expectations. Thanks for your advice indeed. We Will try to improve
