There is something to be said for, âIf itâs not broken, donât fix it. Nestled in Downtown Trail, this Italian Restaurant has a winning pasta sauce recipe. The decor and restaurant is simple and comfortable. Large portions for reasonable pricing. You must try the pasta lunch special - you wonât be disappointed.

we used to enjoy going to Pino's, took friends there, recommended it. THEN..... we went there one night I ordered a med rare steak saying I wanted it just pink inside and salad. My husband ordered veal parm and spaghetti. It wasn't busy. The waitress brought us warm water (no ice) and said she was told not to put ice in. She then brought us both salad. My steak was blood rare, cold inside. Couldn't get the waitress so I interrupted the owner as he was canoodling with a little red head and said I'm sorry I can't eat that, it's too rare. He started to argue with me that that was how the waitress told him to cook it, I again said I can't eat it. He took it back into the kitchen and got the girl in there to put it back on the grill. (He never cooked our food as he was busy with his young friend.) THEN he made a big show of bringing the waitress to our table and chastising her. Unfortunately for them, I could see into the kitchen where they went immediately after and they started laughing and had a big hug. Nice right? We were ready to leave and the waitress said the owner wanted to give us dessert. I said no thank you I don't enjoy his cannolis. She told him this and he brought them to us anyway. I again repeated no thank you. At that point the owner threw the cannolis...plate and all into the garbage and shouted I can't do anything for you.
We were keen on Italian tonight and we had sussed this place out in the afternoon. On arrival we found it full of locals and a nice singer adding to the atmosphere. The owner seems to potter around when he has time and make everyone comfortable. We loved the food and the generous portions. If we lived here we would be regulars! YMMV
We attended a wedding reception at the Riverbelle last weekend. The venue was very good with ample room for guests and dancing, very good food and very good service.
