We have occasionally visited Il Forno's for over two decade. Mostly, simple Italian plates are what we order and we are always satisfied. Service is always attentive but they seem to have developed a small pet peeve of mine. When paying with cash, Il Forno's doesn't want to deal with change. I get it. However, state and city meal tax will always create an uneven dollar amount. If an establishment choses to avoid change, round the dollar amount down not up. It is basic courtesy to your customers. Rounding the dollar amount up either is just another arrogant money grab or an appearance of a server padding their gratuity. Not good in either case. I know it is a minor issue but it is the principal of the matter. So much so in my case that my dining choices will be directed to a competitor.

My wife and i went there for dinner. Food was very good but. Drinks were pretty expensive. $15 for my wifeâs Grey Goose cosmo! That is a very high premium price. So overall good but watch the drink prices.

I had a very nice dinner at Luciaâs on a Tuesday evening. The wine list is extensive, but there are affordable wines by the glass- the Chianti was well-suited for my entree. The arugula salad was well-balanced with pine nuts, mozzarella, and onions. A little heavy on the dressing for my taste, but it was a nice dressing. The arancini were lovely: crispy outsides masking a gooey, cheesy inside with rice that was just the right side of al dente. Definitely a dish sizes for two.The braised beef and mushroom ragu was excellent. The beef was braised and soft, the sauce set off the earthy flavors of the mushrooms...lovely. The pasta was a little over-cooked; I like al dente pasta so that might be worth requesting. My server was very attentive, and the next time Iâm in Ayer Iâll probably return.

On recommendation from a friend, came here for dinner. It did not disappoint. Excellent mussels appetizer. My friends got the pizza and they said it was great, especially the crust. My husband got a pasta dish, also great. My Italiano sandwich was very good, but I didn't ask for it to be grilled. Excellent service and ambiance. We will be back.

Bring your family to Mariano's for great food and conversation. Whether it's a business lunch, a date night, or a family outing, our intimate setting is conducive for a refreshingly nice sit-down. Located in Pepperell, MA
This restaurant has a nice atmosphere and great food but the experience is ruined by unreliable service. We waited patiently for bread and drinks while our waitress spent ten minutes flirting with another customer. She and another waitress were then busy eating their own dinners at a table nearby. It's a little too clubby for me. They need to focus on serving their customers.

We were able to enjoy our dinner at an outdoor table on a lovely evening! It was our first time in the area and an acquaintance had recommended having a meal here. The menu had enough variety for us. None of us had pasta but the paninis and salads were great! You order and pay for your meal at the counter and a staff person brings your food to your table. Ice water and utensils are self-serve. Unique and delicious!

A unique combination of Greek, Italian and American cuisine in a cozy country setting.
One of the best restaurants in the area. Food is excellent and reasonably priced, Service is outstanding. Has recently been tastefully remolded and expanded. Has a local small town feel with food and service that you would expect from a a much larger establishment that features fine dining in a metropolitan area. If your in the area, this restaurant should be on the top of the list

The owner greeted us, and made a couple reommendations. Homemade lasagna and ravioli with meatballs and sausage was the final selection. Delicious - friendly staff, good value, and good food added up to a very good lunch. The whole meal came to around $20 - including a couple of cokes and cheezy garlic bread,Mostly takeout, some cozy tables (we ate in) - next time we are in Townsend we will be stopping again -
