Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Toronto. One of the most multi-cultural and multi-faceted cities in the world, Toronto is a welcoming cosmopolitan community. Its urban sprawl of city blocks, skyscrapers, modish cafes, chic shops, and up-till-dawn clubs is balanced by an expansive network of parklands, beaches, lakes and recreational facilities. It always has its thumb to the pulse, with something new going on or being built, and an overall energetic vibe. Ethnically diverse, the city has a vivacious cross-section of options when it comes to dining, entertainment, festivals, and events. Whether you're attracted by vintage cinemas and antiquing, hiking trails and river rafting, or luxury shopping and spa weekends, Toronto has you covered. Best of all, it preserves its history while also being thoroughly modern, with streets going from contemporary cool to Victorian in under a minute. The city is a fun amalgamation every step of the way!

I came to TOCA for lunch. This is a fancy restaurant in the Ritz Carlton but I didnât find any of what I ordered was outstanding, special or even delicious. Tomato soup lack the taste, The ribeye steak was dry and tough although it was cooked medium and the tiramisu was just Ok.Dear Alkhalidy, Thank you for choosing to dine at TOCA. Modern italian cuisine.
We were in town for a wedding and this is across from our hotel. They have live music but was closing out the set a little after we got there. Server was friendly and food was great, wine not bad either. There are quite a few good restaurants in this area but I don't think you can go wrong by coming here.

Trattoria Taverniti serves authentic and homemade Italian cuisine in the heart of Torontoâs Little Italy. A true trattoria, this cozy little restaurant, features Rosina Taverniti's family recipes. Come try our house specialties: Gnocchi Venezia, Meat Lasa
This was a very memorable dining experience in Little Italy and was a very good choice. We made the mistake of coming on a Saturday night without reservations; however, we were able to sit outside. The poor Canadians! Most of them couldn't handle the summer heat of dining al fresco on a sweltering day, but this was fine with us.We were well cared for outside, and the food was terrific. We got the house red wine which was an affordable and pleasant option. I got the daivolo pizza and it was cooked to perfection. These guys really should think about expanding, because they could probably double their business with the number of people they turned away as we dined. Granted it was a Saturday, but it was obviously a popular option for both locals and tourists like us.

Completely deserving of its Toronto ranking for pizza, and the AVPN Neapolitan pizza certification. Enjoyed it greatly on two visits within 8 days of each other. Our server, red-haired Hanna, was so friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. My son and I try AVPN pizzarias all over the world. This is a great example of the real thing. Highly recommended!

We met with family/friends on Victoria Day and had a wonderful evening savouring the delicious food and wines on offer. Our server was excellent- attentive, helpful and welcoming. We were allowed to linger over coffee and drinks after dinner and continue chatting which we appreciated. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we would definitely go back next time we are in Toronto. Fantastic wine selection and our server was very helpful in making our selections. And we enjoyed the friendly ambience of this charming resto!

Saturday night dinner was delightful until the restaurant started filling up! The noise level is high and spoiled what was intended to be a quiet dinner. Food was okay I personally did not enjoy the ambience as it had a hustle about the entire experience

So I only remember one thing that I ate, which was one of the risottos. It was very good. We actually ordered a number of things and shared them. The atmosphere is nice and it's a move to a new location. The music was not blasting which was also good so you can have a conversation and more wine, rather than rushing out annoyed after your last bite. The service was lovely. I will go back.

Spent a wonderful evening with family in this cozy Italian restaurant. The service was amazing, very helpful and professional. Great variety of Italian Mediterranean cuisine. Rainbow trout special was amazing as was gnocchi... actually everything! Portion sizes were perfect. And homemade bread was perfect.

Busy, atmospheric restaurant serving a predictable selection of pastas and a decent selection of other mains. The food was good and the service friendly. The tables are a little cramped... We had a table alongside the kitchen.. Fascinating to see how efficient the cooks were!Meal was a little quick... Not a relaxing experience. Most important thing is that the food was tasty and a reasonable price.
