Came here for dinner on a Saturday night with a large group of friends and the food and service was GREAT! You got to try the garlic boli knots appetizer along with the sweet chili calamari appetizers! The garlic boli knots come with a tomato dipping sauce that just adds another yummy element to this appetizer. They were both so good that you could almost make a meal with them. I ordered the chicken francaise which was very tasty and had a perfect portion with just the right amount of sauce . Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. See various pictures below. Our waitress was also very accommodating with our large group. She was very attentive and kept making sure our dinner was perfect. (You donât get that every where) Itâs a great place that you got to try if you are in the mood for Italian. Lastly, donât forget to bring your favorite beverage as they are BYOB.

We visit Olive Garden from time to time as usually you can count on good service, good food and no surprises. Not this time. The food was good as usual but the service was extremely poor. Our server did not treat us as family unless she considered us the black sheep. She forgot to put our order in and then blamed the kitchen. It took forever to get our drink order and refills were never offered. She only was working our table and one other. We asked to speak to a manager after our food was finally served and at that point she completely ignored us. The manager was apologetic and gave us free dessert and gift cards to return again. Nice save but keep an eye out for your server.

The Sunday Gravy entree was the same as my momâs recipe. She would cook the gravy all day. Sunday was a day for family dinner. You can have a family dinner at Brooklyn Bistro any day of the week. So delicious! The staff was attentive, friendly and efficient. Nice simple bistro decor. We will be back. A jewel!

I wasn't expecting much initially from this little 'pizzeria-type' BYOB restaurant, but have had some really good meals here over the last few years. The chef must have been a baker of some sort previously by trade, as the breads/pastas/desserts are excellent, hands down. However, some of the meat/seafood dishes, although good, are not on the same caliber of his homemade pasta, which is what I would definately recommend if eating here. Pizza (too a specialty pie to go) was very good as well. Enjoy. Note: service here a litle slow, so don't plan on rushing out of there if in a hurry.

Nice ambience. Liked the fact that you can see the Chefs working over there in their kitchen! Reasonably good service. I ordered the branzino. He ordered the scallops. We both loved our dishes ! Easy parking. Easy to make U-turn if heading back west on Rte 37 !

We enjoyed their early bird dinner special. Soup, Salad, bread and oil, entree coffee and desert all for a whopping $42 with tax and tip! A generous diner portion for us. Our waiter, Donato the manager took special care of our needs. We always enjoy spending an evening at our favorite Italian restaurant.

I have not been to this restaurant in a few years and had a chance to have dinner here recently for two. The food and portions were delicious and the service was top notch. The secert is to get there early before they fill up and that they do at II Giardinello. I will be coming back again to one of my favorite restaurants in Toms River.
