Our 3rd visit in as many years; this time one could make small criticisms but to do so would be mean -spirited. Even suboptimal, the Tuscan Kitchen remains the outstanding restaurant in Rye. My pasta was perhaps a fraction over-cooked,,,but the sauce and shellfish were lovely. The puds were especially good this time and the service from an incredibly helpful waiter couldnt be bettered. In no other restaurant has extra bread been brought without having to request it,

The food served by Jerry and his team is just wonderful. If you get a chance to sample his food it is well worth the short wait whilst it is prepared.I particularly like the vegetables and Italian potatoes served with the meals.

Nice old building very inviting. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was delicious (except the calamari which was tasteless). Prosecco was good. Nice atmosphere nice restaurant.

Excellent coffee and wonderful croissants. I particularly recommend the apricot croissant which was delicious. There was also a great selections of salads and Italian pastries for another time. The cafe had a good atmosphere and charming and attentive staff. It is just off the main street and should not be missed. What a wonderful find, a bijou bistro on Tenterden High Street. We had the sharing board, followed by prawn pasta and baby squid risotto which was clearly freshly prepared and delicious. Followed by yummy deconstructed Tiramisu. Finally an authentic Italian. Highly recommend, but do book as was full all night, understandably.
