Need to get in early if many coach parties are staying. Queues often created in foyer area. Large dining room with more then adequate variety of things to enjoy. Cooked breakfasts western style, Japanese and continental breakfast all available as this is self service....Polite helpful staff, not very engaging, but kept busy and replacing food all the time.

After lots of (great) Japanese food I needed a day off and followed some good reviews about this restaurant. And they all where right. The food was fantastic. The marinated seafood (octopus and scallops) and tuna salad where just gorgeous and the main (lamb chops) were good as well. But the best of all was the warm and friendly atmosphere. Almost made me a little home sick.

I am certainly a fan of Japanese food but on long visits to Japan its great to get a flavour of more familiar food with quality. Ricco is a rare find in that their pizzas and pastas are designed and cooked in traditional ways free from local customization to cater for the Japanese diet. prepared in traditional Italian ways with high quality ingredients this restaurant in an Oasis free from commercialization. its traditional pizza oven delivers excellent pizzas at good prices. The eclectic diners are a testament to its appeal with a wide range of excellent dishes. thoroughly recommended. The personal favourite of mine the Diavolo Pizza was a pleasure to be experienced!
石焼き窯で焼かれたピザがすごくおいしいです。ランチタイムは平日でもすぐに満席になることが多いです。早めの時間に行かれることをお勧めします。

I was so glad to find this restaurant, ended up going back two days in a row. Service was excellent. They had a buffet of vegetables, soups, breads and drinks, A la Carte ordering of mains and desserts. All dishes could be made gluten free, as well as being able to cater for other dietary requirements such as vegetarian, vegan, dairy free, etc.Thank you so much for your recommendation! We were very very happy to have you.

We had some nice food here, the highlight was the hot mushrooms in boiling olive oil.Pizzas were great too.The waiters need to speak and understand English though and they seemed to have little knowledge of the ingredients.

Had been operating in Osaka Kitashinchi '36 is closed once "Tritone". Through the charging period of one year, changed the location to Oyodominami Kita-ku, Osaka, to change the store name to "Alto Tritone" was reopened.
We booked this restaurant after searching Tripadvisor and reading some of the positive reviews that others had written in the past. We had heard about the homemade pasta and the unique method used by this Japanese family restaurant. When the server brought out our pasta that he would run through his handmade machine (with guitar strings) we were excited and were entertained by the process. A unique and interesting method of preparing pasta, a first for us. When the pasta was brought out it was well presented and to their credit, tasted great. However, there were some problems that I think others fail to mention,1. The pasta we ordered had shrimp added to the top of it. The heads of the shrimp were still attached when cooked. In the mother/waitress attempt to explain to us that we could eat the meat inside the head of the shrimp (which we already knew), she reached down (perhaps out of frustration due to the language barrier) and picked up my shrimp with her bare hands and motioned that we could break the head apart to get at the meat. We were shocked. Who touches a customer's food, let alone with their bare hands? Unacceptable.2. We didn't get any bread with our pasta but had to order it extra for 200 yen. That's 200 yen for two small pieces of cold bread. The restaurant doesn't need to be this cheap. Serve a few slices of bread with the pasta--but do heat it up first. All in all, a nice dinner but our experience was marred by what we witnessed.
