The Sudan or Sudan (/suːˈdæn, -ˈdɑːn/ ( listen); Arabic: السودان as-Sūdān) also known as North Sudan since South Sudan's independence and officially the Republic of the Sudan (Arabic: جمهورية السودان Jumhūriyyat as-Sūdān), is a country in Northern Africa. The White Nile flows through the country, emptying into Lake Nubia in the north, the largest manmade lake in the world. The River Nile divides the country into eastern and western halves. Before the Sudanese Civil War, South Sudan was part of Sudan, but it became independent in 2011.

I frequently have dinner in the nice garden of Universal café. It is a silent area, peaceful and fresh air by fans and water dispensers. In the internal space there is a good a/c temperature. The food is excellent, service is good and fast. Not large choice but excellent quality.Pastas, meat, ice cream and cakes are fantastic and genuine.
Where to eat Seafood food in Sudan: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Conveniently located near the airport, the Atmosphere is a very well designed, furnished and arranged restaurant, offering a cozy, clean and agreeable environment for lunch, dinner or simply a coffee.Extensive menu that may please any demanding customer with great alternatives. Salads are excellent, the meat dish I ordered just perfect.Service is excellent, attentive and fast.Correctly priced.A place to go and certainly to return.
We visit this restaurant about once a month, the food is excellent but be prepared for a wait as it is cooked to order. This is no problem for us as it gives us a chance to have a relax and conversation with friends. The food has never disappointed us and they are generous portions. This week I phoned an order in to takeaway - food was ready and waiting when I arrived and naan and roti was cooked fresh as I paid the bill.
