I sometimes go to Consul and always in groups of many people, as it's an ideal place for dinners where you want to have some fun, drink your share, and don't pay too much.Prices are very reasonable, and food quality is OK.Service is no-frills but it can be very entertaining!!!

The place is absolutely amazing. Dario Martina offers a beautiful and unique restaurant with a hotel and bar. We have eaten there twice and have loved every bite! His Friulian food is simple, but very delicious and offers something different than any other restaurant in the area. The atmosphere is sophisticated and relaxed. Dario brings his warm and gregarious presence to each table. He works with great passion to find the best ingredients possible for each dish he sends out from the kitchen. There is a well balanced wine list that pairs well with the food. You are made to feel very welcome and at home when you are there. We highly recommend it and cannot wait to go back next time we are in beautiful Spilimbergo.

food fine, nothing special, atmosphere and service good, but very expensive for what you get, there are better places.

On our last evening in Spilimbergo we went for this nice place for a good dinner. We got all we would wish for. Good and friendly service, nice outdoor seating in private garden, lovely wine and last but not least great dinner! Totally recommendable. And good price

Good menu with a particularly extensive selection of pizza. The classics cost about 7 or 8 euros, while the specials are 13 to 15 euros. Not much difference in size but the more expensive ones come with some ingredients on the side, so that your toppings taste fresher. Nice outside seating and, unusually for Italy, it is air conditioned inside. This restaurant is not in the city centre, and actually is in Baseglia. It is about 1.5 km north of Via Maniago on SP1 (Via Ugo Foscolo)

We were excited to eat the pizza here as we had heard from the locals that it was very good. We did like it but had a hard time enjoying it because of the sweltering heat in the restaurant. They had air conditioning that was not turned on on one of the hottest days of the year. It's a cute place that I would go back to on a cooler day. Our waitress was wonderful and the owner was very kind and personable.

Went here for lunch and was lucky enough to get a table outside. I have two children and they were content with pasta. My father had the bacala which was fantastic. My mother in law had the polenta with ragu. The ragu (thick meat sauce) tastes exactly like my 92 year old great aunt makes it in Castelnouvo. My wife and has the home made gnocchi (mine with cheese and hers with ragu) which were phenomenal.Highly recommend if in or near Spilimbergo.

All'interno del palazzo dipinto nella splendida cornice del castello di Spilimbergo lo Chef Marco Talamini e il sommelier Massimo Botter Vi aspettano per farvi passare un piacevole momento gastronomico di grande soddisfazione.
During August, it seems that the whole of Friuli is either closed, or fully booked. Not so La Torre, where we ended up for lunch. What a whole lot of luck too. This was outstanding. The Service extremely friendly. When I wanted to order a house White Wine, the waiter opened a new bottle of excellent sauvignon, Fernanda Capello. Since it tasted so great, he left the bottle on the table. Smart man! I recommend the Sauvignon Blanc and a visit too, ist not far from Spilimbergo. And then the Food arrived. Ravioli in a Sauce of caramelized onions, roast Beef on a bed of crispy roasted potatoes and branzino meditterrano. Highly recommended. And as desert the ubiquitous Tiramisu came with a Special presentation as well. Excellent. Many thanks for this amazing review we hope see you again

Why you would go to Italy and have a burger I donât know! We arrived here because the restaurant we wanted to go to was over booked. Out of desperation and hunger we decided to give this a try. The food was mediocre. I had a pizza which was horrible, the rest of my family had burgers and they said they were ok. We were there with my grandsons, 2 months and 2 years. The service was so horrible, they totally ignored us and seated us in the warmest part of the restaurant, the thermometer read 33 Celsius. We asked to be moved outside, but totally ignored us. We were charged for bread, which we never got, and I was charged for extra toppings I didnât ask for. Over all I would truly avoid. I honestly felt compelled to write this to keep people from making a mistake, with so many excellent options in the area.
