My friend and I had a wonderful evening at Alimentari. The restaurant has an Italian countryside-meets-sleek minimalist aesthetic. An Instagram-worthy local spot with equally photogenic food presentation. It is decent Italian food that makes you feel at home. Portions are almost perfect. The menu has a variety of options that should appeal to most people. We sat outside, and even though there were activities and music being played in the adjacent plaza, it was all very relaxed. Our server, Braxton, never made us feel rushed nor patronized. He helped us choose a fun-to-drink Vermentino bottle that was not overpriced but of good character. Our negronis were delicious and made well.We shared the Salmon Tartare - it was overall delicious but honestly the tartare itself was a little bland. Our Caprese salad featured good, creamy burrata, and the pesto was on point, basil lacked freshness. My friend ordered the Proscuitto Pizza. They were quite generous with toppings, maybe too much if I'm being picky? The crust was decent. I had the Gnocchi that was really good. Not the best gnocchi I've ever had, but I enjoyed the flavors! We finished off with a scoop of Clumpie's raspberry sorbet which came with blueberries, blackberries, and whipped cream dollop. For $3, that was totally worth it! And, we had double espressos and Sambuca which was served properly. It was a fantastic experience, and we will definitely be back.

Primo continues to be our family's favorite restaurant. Whether our kids are in town our entertaining friends, Primo is our choice. My wife and I have been to Primo many, many times since their opening, and there is no drop-off in service our execution. We have had most everything on the menu and everything is well-prepared, tasty, and filling. Seasonal changes are a treat. The staff is outstanding making one feel as if they are genuinely glad you are there. It is outdoor seating which is a bit quieter than the main dining area. Primo is what you would expect of an Italian family restaurant where neighborhood guests gather for a meal together. You always see somewhere there you know.Thank you for the feedback and for choosing to be a regular guest. We appreciate it.

I was born and raised in Connecticut. I've been in the South for almost 20 years. Many places claim to have N.Y pizza but couldn't even come close. Until now!! I almost cried when I took my first bite. I felt like I was back home eating pizza. I cant wait to go back and try the calzones etc. New York Pizza Dept. Is the best pizza around, period!!

Traditional New York Style, Detroit style and Neapolitan Pizza. Handmade Gelato, and Craft Beers. Homemade pasta.
Had lunch with my son at Community Pie on Market Street, House salad and Daily Slice( of Pizza). Very filling and it was good. Son had the Chicken Sandwich which he really liked. This is a regular of ours and while he attends classes at the local college it is always a treat for him to have lunch at Community Pie
If you like Rafael's, you'll LOVE Family Diner!!!!! The atmosphere is homey. The service is personal, the food is great and the prices are reasonable. Try it!!

We've eaten here every time we've visited to Chattanooga over the past several years. This visit we were here with friends to whom we raved about Tony's. Despite the 90 degree heat on a busy Saturday night (which we anticipated), we decided to wait the 1 1/2 hours. What a poor decision. Our friend (who has Parkinson's) was a good sport, & we found the ONLY stool available for sitting in the waiting area (all the curbs outside were occupied). We enjoyed the wine from the bar, people watching...lots of kids... We even observed the "excitement" of someone passing out in the waiting area. My friend gave up the single stool to the person who passed out as they waited for EMT to arrive. FINALLY our name was called. (We kept assuring our friends it was worth the long SRO wait...) I ordered the baked pesto chicken ravioli (good). Others ordered fettuccine with alfredo sauce with chicken added, Seafood Ravioli, & Spaghettini. The fettuccine was so undercooked it clumped together, & the alfredo sauce was so skimpy that my husband requested more sauce -- which arrived too late to make the (now cold) dish edible. Ditto the Spaghettini dish -- hardly any olio sauce with zero flavor. The "wine by the glass" ordered to drink with the meal arrived towards the end of the meal. We were embarrassed & will find another restaurant worth our wait next trip to Chattanooga.

I come to Chattanooga at least twice a year and always make sure to stop and grab a slice at Lupiâs. Pizza is delicious, great atmosphere, and excellent beer selection. Wait staff is always friendly and courteous. Highly recommend eating here when visiting Chattanooga.

Great for take out. It is nice to support Local Businesses. We order at least 2 pizzas a month from Pizza Place. They only accept CASH and CHECKS. No credit or debt.

Hummingbird Pastaria is a family-run rustic, no brow Italian trattoria serving fresh pasta rolled out daily, seasonal vegetables, and local hog, lamb, chicken and rabbit butchered in house.
This is by far the most trendy restaurant in Signal Mountain. The menu is eclectic and full of the sorts of ingredients that foodies crave. Each entree is described with at least half-a-dozen adjectives listing sauces, and garnishes smacking of the exotic. I didn't recognize half of the items. The service is small-town elegant and the place is usually packed--reservations recommended. Frankly, this place is not my cup of (unusual) tea but if your palate runs to the au courant, I'll bet you'll love this place. On the other hand, if you just want a nice steak, or chop, or chicken, or fish dish with a recognizable vegetable and traditional starches, good luck.
